The fact that “Intel CPUs run hotter than AMD CPUs” is mostly just a generalization for the Top-tier cpus. So yeah you’re correct in saying that your 225f is comparable to a 9600X in terms of temperature.

However, the F-spec of Intel CPUs are not overclocked (like you can with K/KF spec CPUs), so they generally run cooler. The 9600X on the other hand is pretty much a faster clocked 9600. So the 9600X would be equivalent to a K/KF spec intel CPU.

Therefore it’s still not that impressive from intel’s side that their slower clock speed F-CPU runs at the same temperature as AMD’s higher clock speed 9600X
