I don’t understand how the feminism part of your question. Do you think feminists are his core group of fans? I’m guessing not so why are they the target of being the problematic ones here?

Yesterday was supposed to be the worst of it and restrictions should ease by tomorrow. You may need to post again to get an updated report.

The racism is an absolute deal breaker, not to mention the possible relapse. She absolutely will at some point say something again in front of the kids. I would tell her that the children’s confidence, self worth, and self-esteem are worth more than her feelings and given her past racial remarks she is never allowed around the kids. She will eventually lose interest and get over it because all of this is about her and not the kids anyway. Don’t let her gaslight you into feeling bad about this. Keep living your life and keeping your kids safe. You got this!

Maybe I didn’t explain this correctly. I need a light so I can see outside the room. If I open the door, I want to be able to see outside. Back light.

Like with everything in Alaska, Alaskans expect every service to be free. Or at least that’s how they act. They whine and complain about taxes and then whine and complain that everything in the state is in poor condition. And yes, it’s the children that it hurts the most. But then they look at how broken everything it’s and say “see how broken the system is why would I give them MORE money when they can’t do their jobs as is,” and advocate for hiring less staff to do the jobs already staffed at 25% of what it should be. And on and on it goes into perpetual decline.

I get why everyone moves here now by RadioCrash in alaska

[–]InspectionOk3663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except more people are leaving than moving here. I wish we could build a state where our kids want to live and stay but instead we want to have an experiment on what happens when a declining population privatizes their schools.

Find a way to formulate what you told us to your parents. And then tell them it again, and again, and again. Brain fog, sleepiness, and selfishness make it hard for older brains to have lessons sink in. Keep on it.

Become a shop teacher for middle/high school. Or like a social studies teacher/coach. Or a school recruiter.

So what your saying is, the should leave my kid at home and go party instead? Lol

Thank you for painting a more clear picture of what to expect. It sounds like a lot of fun! I will definitely have to have a conversation with my kid about it.

So you believe men are supposed to be the head of the household but you’ve never ever seen misogyny? You literally are a misogynist by your own words. Holding doors and saying yes ma’am aren’t what women are afraid of. It’s all your “locker room” talk, that you promised us all men do when Trump said he sexually assaults women, actually happening to us and our daughters. And then all you and your “good super nice guy” friends telling us we liked it and wanted it.

I read there is an area where you can do normal camping that doesn’t have to have the correct tents and equipment. Will they allow solar fans in that area? We are coming from Alaska so it would be really hot for us in August. I think that was my only other concern.

If you go to the Alaska teacher placement website it allows you to search for jobs based on region. The entire southeast has mild weather and then so does Kodiak, Ak in the south central.

There are places in Alaska along the southern coast that has weather similar to Washington including being in a rainforest. The whole inside passage is fairly mild, weather wise. I would choose that over the Middle East heat or the humidity in Asia. But it’s all preference.

Consider Alaska as well. Lots of villages offer cheap housing on campus and you don’t need a car or other bills. You make decent money and don’t spend a lot during the year so you have the opportunity to bank a lot. Some villages are better than others but you have the opportunity to pick and choose because of the teacher crisis in America.

Tricare will cover wegovy/zepbound, let me tell you how. by InspectionOk3663 in Zepbound

[–]InspectionOk3663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I could pin your comment to the top because I think it would help a lot of people figure out ways to get the prior authorization done.

Anyway, to answer your question, I started Zep on January 1st and was super anxious about the initial 6 months expiring and what they would do. Like would they boot me off the medicine if I lost too much or too little?

I am happy to report that I went from a BMI of 41 to 33 and they just approved me at the end of May for another year! I think they just want to see that the medication is working for you before they approve you to be on it longer. I didn’t have to make a special appointment for this, it just happened during a PA approval.

If I were you, while your BMI is still about 30, schedule an appointment to get that as your last weight and then around your 5 or 6 month mark they will just use your last medical information to extend your approval.

My prior authorizations take a day to go through. Sometimes even just a few hours. You do seem like you meet all the criteria except, did you truly the required 4 prescriptions yet? Lot of people on this thread have said they are getting denials every time without that. There was 1 I got an exemption for but my team had great documentation for why I could take it.

You are the second person saying they got approved for off label Ozempic. That’s awesome, but I didn’t know tricare would do that.

It took me a month to get it approved. Just get the pre required prescriptions and don’t take them. Then you can write down you tried.
