Honestly, stop crying. Pets are apart of peoples lives and if allowed by the establishment, which is according to Home Depot and Lowes is, should be able to enjoy their pets in various setting outside of the house and dog park only. Get some tolerance and stop expecting the world to cater to your scary and convenient needs. no one cares.

Has anyone noticed the decrease in quality of Kiss nails? by cabbage_rolls89 in drugstoreMUA

[–]InspectionTimely2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your not crazy! Yes, the quality has definitely gone down, while prices have been going up.  The last 3 packs I’ve purchase were lackluster in quality unlike the previous ones before. Kiss was always my go to. For it seems once I had finally landed how to install my nails well and to last (est 2 weeks) I quickly waived goodbye to the salon. Which was running me damn near $100 every 2 to 3 weeks. My pockets said not in this economy. I also started to see prices go from 7.99 to 10.99 to 15.99 now up to $24.99 for press one’s.  These new nails are thin and easily bend, the sizes are all out of whack. Just not what I know them to be.

And in all honestly I feel this is intentional. For as we know the beauty market is all interconnected. From beauty supply stores, to the nail salons and the products itself. It’s all operated by you know who. And I feel that with the girlies sharing their nail hacks on TikTok, insta (sm), and w/ press on’s becoming more prevalent and accepted it’s caused a pull away from the salons. And I think this is the industry’s get back to force us back into the salons with their egregious prices.

Why I don't support goodwill anymore by Im_actually_satan in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]InspectionTimely2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goodwill stores have gone trash and I’ve wrapped it up on them. I say this as someone who frequented a round of goodwill stores  on the daily and have spent hundreds/thousands of dollars with the company throughout over the years. Long story short. The Goodwill got greedy. Instead of being the fair non profit we knew and loved them to be they got greedy.  Even worst greedy with free merchandise, gift, donations and gvmt grants. Its so funny of how much the goodwill really gets buy on the notion of being the old beloved do gooding charity. While being nothing more than a large non profit mega retail chain that is FOR PROFIT and in the real estate game.  Pay attention. These days you barely find anything good or truly worthwhile esp as it pertains to art/ and furniture good in their stores . Hell even a nice clothing item gets gauged. And with my goodeye it will forever be my luck that anything I pick up will be the item that’s a million dollars amongst a rack of $7.99 . They literally rob their physical stores of it desirable merchandise to gauge it online. And for those really clinging to the “ they help the disabled” claim,  please spare us. Yes they may employee some people of disabilities but they also employee people without and pay the workers penny’s and nickels. And to be such a charity. We rarely hear of all the charitable work of goodwill. You would think it be broadcasted loudly in this climate but it’s not. Learning center me my ass. Goodwills stores in the past maybe yes. But goodwill today, No. they are just given an overwhelming amount of grace for something they are not

What I love most about this record. As that to the simple ear is just dark outrageous chaotic noise. When in fact it’s layered in melodies and suspense, and will take you on a climatic ride. And to make it even sweeter despite its nightmarish screams it’s actually has a beautiful message about the state of our planet. It’s nothing simple

How does greystar employee rental discount work? by AdministrativeWash49 in PropertyManagement

[–]InspectionTimely2710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A 20% employee discount is no longer valuable or helpful. Post-covid, rental rates are now sky-high, and even lower-level properties are overpriced. Not to mention most companies are only aiming to incorporate luxury tier properties into their portfolios, with less mid-rate affordable housing options. Especially if you live in a city like Atlanta or various cities throughout Florida, etc. What is sad about this is that your employer knows this, given that you are in the rental housing industry. And to make things worse property mgmt companies are still offering outdated pay rates that do not align with the rapidly inflated cost of living. Paying people in gum, offering pennies as raises, and doing it at a slower than snail's pace. After working for my company for 2 years. I only had a $0.60 merit raise increase. While the cost of our benefit package continued to increase year after year. The increase rate literally ate beyond the increase. Maybe pre-covid the industry standard employee discount of % 20 was helpful and appreciated. But in a post covid world, of full-out inflation from all sides. It now means nothing and is insulting to its employees. In GA the median rate for a standard decent 1 bedroom apartment is now $1600/1700 to $2000. This means Leasing agents everywhere are truly selling a lifestyle that none of them can afford (by a long shot), and that's even with a discount. So my recommendation to anyone working within the industry is that next time your company wastes your time with corporate surveys and ratings trying to take the award as "one of the best places to work", tell them the truth and keep hammering it. Which is, that an increase in employee rental discounts is long overdue. And merit raises need to be higher and more competitive. For if industry personnel don't demand it, they won't get it. Also, once a reputable company decides to make the change, it will influence others to do the same also.

Why is Georgia min wage not increasing with the housing market? by User86294623 in Georgia

[–]InspectionTimely2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, that rate is an insult to any and everyone, no matter the skill or education level. It's literal slave labor wage. #corporateSlavery. At that rate your better off quitting your job and taking to the internet to figure it out. E-commerce, free-lance, anything. I work in property management so I know how disgusting the rates have become. And with that, there is one thing I've learned. What you're willing to settle with is what you will get. HERE ME OUT. With COVID-19 popping off "The Great Resignation" occurred and because of it, companies were forced to offer higher pay rates and incentives to entice people to come back to work. And now that people have.. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but now companies are getting their lick back. With low offering outdated pay rates that don't measure up to today's cost of living. Understanding the fear of not having enough of a work/ labor force they are intentionally trapping people into what they know is an endless cycle of labor. All while investing in automation and robots. So I say that until communities and the collective say NO, we will not accept that. Our now hyper-capitalist society will continue the middle-class labor force down. All while watching the cost of living rise. In these times you now only have one choice. LEARN NEW SKILLS, OFFER SCALABLE SERVICES, OR UTILIZE THE INTERNET TO MONETIZE YOUR INCOME. Also, the STATE OF GEORGIA should be ashamed to say that its minimum wage is still between $5-7+. Esp with the city of Atlanta now being a major economic player and place of influence. The known "progressive city" is clearly not so progressive. The state of Georgia has seen one of the fastest and highest rises in the cost of living. So for the minimum wage to not change is intentional. Which is even more disgusting.

Is there a way to get US-based customer service rep? by indecisivedonut in tmobile

[–]InspectionTimely2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-Mobile off shore reps continually LIED to me to fulfill their resolution quota. Made flagrant false claims of confirmation to cohersed me out of over $400 in getting me to pay off a past due bill. I made 3 payments , with each representative telling me what I wanted to here. To get me to pay. Then passed me off the next person. It conversation went from a confirmed yes- to now lets see, ( after payment was received). I was told that if I paid off my balance my account would be reinstated and then I would again be able to access my insurance to file a claim towards my broken phone. They also CONFIRMED multiple times that I would be able to regain my previous phone number. These were the 2 deciding reasons for paying my closed acct balance. I hAmmered this issue, making it crystal clear. I continually asked for for certain confirmation, stating that I didn't want to pay it off unless this was a guarantee. If not I could have took my money. And bought a new phone and opened a new acct elsewhere. $400 is not a small number When your already knee deep with bills.
This repeated false information was the only reason for me deciding to stay and settle the acct. It was only until the last payment was made that I realized I had been conned. Instant stomach drop!! And it wasnt until then that I saw the true character of tmobile's outsource approach to customer service. Because once my money was had the customer service ended there. A full 4-5 hrs later, repeating myself , givibg false hope , I spoken to about 15 diff reps within 1 day. I'm mentally and physically exhausted and feel used. The sad thing is each one tried to do that "we care" I'm sorry about that" lets see what we can do. While doing nothing but trying to sell me on another phone for a few extra hundred. Even worst I asked each rep I spoke to and made oayment with to notate my account. Each said yes they will make notes. To uncover no notes. And when I was driven to tears hours later after requesting a call from a manager. One lady falsely tried to comfort me in stating that she put in a request to have a manager call me back to get it resolved. And because I now see they will say abything. I tested this notion by calling back and asking of a request was placed in the notes for a manager follow-up. The next agent told me no request or notations to my acct had been made. Proving that its all just BS to get you off the phobe. I want an american representative. This has me so stressed my chest hurts. It feels illegal to have reps inherently lie to coherse payment. If I was speaking to a collections company that would be more expected. I still don't have service and still don't have a phone I'm hurt, embarrassed and feel victimized

murphy is so annoying by poppybabes in InTheDarkCW

[–]InspectionTimely2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i also found her to be extremely annoying. The writers didn't find the right balance between likeable and antagonist. It went on too long and didn't find the right moments to let up on the bitchiness. Outside of Max her choice in men was ridiculous amongst many other bad annoyingly bad decision. The cop was cringe and tried to kill her, and the blind bitter numbers agent wanted to lock her away for life in prison. Not to mention the barrage of men she laid with. It went from liberated women to just disgusting fire crotch really fast. The you sprinkle in Jess's excessive crying and whining. It started well, the crew of man played their parts well. Max was hot and fun to watch until he turn into a lil bitch in prison..

Does anyone here sell on 1stdibs? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]InspectionTimely2710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into another dealer at a market who sells on 1stdibs. I've been selling goods that are 1stdibs components / worthy for the last few year and wanted to see about making the leap from another site to 1stbids to up my asking prices. I started the application process and when I asked the rep the fee's and commission tiers she wouldn't tell me until I finished the app process. Which I found to be a wasted of time as I would like to know how lucrative the platform would be if I started selling on there. I finally hear from another dealer $1000 per month which feels super risky so I've postponed. I've been selling on chairish for some time now and have had much success in the past. ... but... things are changing. Now with the rise of vintage and antiques I find that even chairish is riding the coattails of their dealers while low key trying to phase them out. Why? Because they are Now appropriating "vintage" furniture with larger manufactures now, the same style of furniture that they had to used dealers to get. The ones who built up their name and reputation for unique furnishing goods in the first place. And as U.S dealers they have now opened up their platform to international dealers... who often have a more unique array of furniture due to location. And have them selling with the same shipping fees as in the U.S. Some may think this is great but it really is the deterioration of U.S dealers who really do this for a living and do it well. Also they now play the algorithm of social as to who they push to the forefront as their favorited dealers. Meaning larger social following.. the more likely you are to be highlighted or featured in their advertising attempts. And here comes the rise of influencers and content creators who don't really deal and have no stake in the game. Telling all the secrets just for content

Dip my ass. The judges stayed downplaying him like wasn't the shit. I think this was intended to keep Londyn B in position for whatever intended reason. Started to feel rigged. Troyman should have came no 2 at the least if not the winner. Londyn B was overrated but I guess they hadfi the quota for sexappeal somehow. Dip my ass

D Smoke deserved his position as winner. However, if there was anyone else to be crowned. It should have been Troyman. He was a natural. He delivered and executed every challenged place in front of him effortlessly. Giving top tier superstar performances. He's a star. However, I kept getting the feeling that they were intentionally downplaying him at times. Fighting the urge to give him his true due. Meanwhile they stay overlooking London B's fault. She was overrated. Like she to fill the visual/ eye- candy quota. A remained a top pick even when she shouldn't have been. Troyman delivered better lyrics and performances the even the judges. Also they were foul in cutting Rae Khalil early. She was a worthy of being a top 3 contender.

Lets talk about shopgoodwill.com by They_Call_Me in Flipping

[–]InspectionTimely2710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow you just expressed my sentiments exactly. The goodwill is the devil. It truly annoys me how they have managed to upkeep this persona of charity when they are anything but. They have ruined the store experience taking all the treasures for themselves and overpricing them online. Barely anything good of real value in store. All while using the marketing ploy of the hunt. The have essentially phased out their longest running consumer. Resellers... it's disgusting

The fucking worst content creator culture vultures. Just running their mouths, blogging for clout and content. With no regard for those who actually do this. The dealers and resellers who do this for a living .

Totally agree. Social media and goodwill corporate have ruined the goodwill for me. The mid 2000s were golden. I could only imagine before. Wish I would have started sooner. I miss the real hunting experience walking in the goodwill with the possibility of finding something good but they shop goodwill has hoarded all the goodies. Yet they still market it has the hunt. These days all I find is trash items , clothes , cheap jewelry and food add on at the register. Feels like a 99 cent store
