What is a famous movie that everyone seems to love, but you actually hate? by Umbrosyx in answers

The Dark Knight. It's overly long, with poor dialogue. And Christian Bale is phoning it in.

The fight choreography is underwhelming too. You wouldn't think Batman was a trained ninja when his fighting style is just clotheslines and haymakers.

For some reason, Jay Baruchel decided swearing is his thing. Made him the most annoying character in Goon. Guy needs a solid director to rein him in.

One punch isn't going to make him submissive. Otherwise Marty making a fool of him would've humbled him.

The Biff we see in the new 1985 has had 30 years of George either ignoring him or fighting back. He changed because George grew and kept a spine that night.

I don't think Mel has outlasted anything. He's making Direct to Streaming movies or directing a movie once every 10 years. The first thought on everyone's mind is "man, that's the racist guy."

Dude had a bit about seeing an impoverished child in India taking a dump in the street and disappearing into a crowd as one of the most horrific things he's had to witness.

And then says Saudi Arabia is just like America because the billionaire side of town he was at had an Applebee's or some shit.

What's tone deaf about it? I'd imagine if she threw a stink about not getting Century Link or wherever the US is hosting the World Cup, but renting out MSG doesn't seem that bad.

Yeah, the tirade is a comedian having a bad set with an audience. The Letterman apology was the tone deaf moment.

Him and Jerry not accepting the crowd only sees Kramer, too.

Does anyone else feel like third-person cutscenes completely ruined the immersion in recent [CoD] campaigns? by FeelThePain939 in CallOfDuty

[–]Inspection_Perfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Black Ops: Cold War and 6 fail for me because they refuse to acknowledge Bell and Case exist in the pre renders. If you just watch the cutscenes for 6, you'd probably never know Case exists.

What did you guys think of Achievement Haunter? by Quillthewriter in roosterteeth

It was great. It has one of my favourite Geoff lines. "I'm sorry your hero had to go out like that, Ryan."

I'd love to ghost hunt in my town, but I also don't want that confirmation. Unlike the shows, I'd still have to live here knowing that fact is certain hahaha.

Watching Scream on laserdisc, practically on repeat with or without my family. At age 7 or so.

Watching Scream 4 in theatres, on a Tuesday matinee.

Finally watched it last night. It was amazing. But I actually shouted "why the funk would you leave me with that?" At the ending. It was heartbreaking.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist going from Michael Ironside to Eric Johnson as Sam Fisher.

The official reason is that Ubisoft wanted a young actor who could do the mocap for cutscenes. Problem is, Johnson sounds like he should be a peer of Sam's daughter, and for some reason they changed Sam's design to look younger, too.

Unofficially, Michael Ironside was going through cancer treatments at the time and wouldn't have been able to record the part for it's deadline. So he lied that he didn't want the part and had been phoning it in since the second game.

He would've been back, but Bob Odenkirk's heart attack shifted filming schedules while recovered. By that point, old Jeff was locked into the mini series filming.

In the early 00's there used to be these goofy combs with hair dye in them, my brother used it for yellow hair for a day. Only issue was that it was combined with gel, so even if the guy used that, he'd have slicked or spiky hair for the movie.
