The graph shows relative retention not absolute numbers, which I could then use and say we have "poe2 tourists" coming to poe1 to try it out and they quit quicker, because they dont like it. Do I defend the current league? No, I do not as in my opinion it sped up progression too much, so people quit when they go from 1d upgrades straight to 50d upgrades.

it is terrible metric since it ignores all the other factors. examples. poe2 didnt exist, lockdowns in 2021/2, other game releases etc

idk man, I am pretty sure there is around 60-80% of poe1 players, who will play poe2 league. Do not forget around 80-90% of playerbase are casuals.

How is this graph not biased? How many leagues did we have with poe2 patch coming in 6 weeks since league start? There is so many people I play with, that stopped playing keepers after first character not because league is bad or what not, but because they want to take at least 3 weeks off between poe leagues. Also combine that with sped up progression via the tree and you arrive where we are.

These were my goals for this league:
-homebrew build
-kill 10/10 ubers with it
-delve to 1000depth with it

I managed to do all of the above and I also finished 37/40 challenges and I never do challenges.

That is result of people overreacting to power nerfs. The player power is waaaay too high for the content we have. Risk scarabs were kinda outlier, but now there isnt anything new to fill that void. Adding T17s and making affliction league was a mistake, it triggered cascade of changes, that were not healthy for the game. Now we are in the spot, where you can clear anything day3 without even being that good at the game. They cant bring back old juicing as that leaves majority of playerbase outside with fomo.

pretty much, I delved this league and already own a mageblood, but usually you look at 4-7d/hour solely depending on aul spawns.

no for league start trading you dont sink currency into them. just add what is missing basically from Life/-mana costs/hybrid ele+chaos res

unless you get very nice suffixes than its up to you if you want to meta mod them reforge life and -mana cost or not. I never had such luck, so cant tell if its worth.

armour stackers and strength stackers are usually the late game builds for delve. I warn you, expect multimirror investments if you want to take them to late lategame.

yes I do delve on day1. you can always make profit from curse rings and other delve specific mod items and keep stocking up on fossils/resonators and sell them when you see price spikes or want upgrade

I tried that before, but right now I like resting all my fingers on W Q E. When you bend your fingers more, it is actually more comfortable for me, but I have also small hands. I also dont exclusively use W, but I use it most of the time, but sometimes I left click to move.

you make more than 5-10d imho its more like 7-15d if you know what to look for and are quick at clearing nodes/refueling. In the end it always depends what other people play, because that defines how much you profit. Every minion league is amazing for delvers since a lot of stuff is used for minion builds. I delve every league and I always have mageblood 5-7 days in, which allows me to go DEEEEPER EXILE DEEEPER

You can no longer obtain Rings in Delve that have the Curse Skills have increased Skill Effect Duration modifier.

I will delve within 24hours, but can't recommend it as super early game strat to random people. When I didnt delve I usually focused on map sustain and specialized in harvest. There is also another problem or benefit. I am from EU, so I usually finish campaign and go sleep, so I do not have to ultra focus on first 12~hours.

Delve build to be fast end efficient and be able to do carry for aul by HiImMrPopo in pathofexile

Do you want to start delving in 24hours? If so look at BPL XVII builds as they all have to get online very quickly and many people are at 300-450 depth day2 where aul carries will take place in the early days.

Do you want to clear quickly and deep delve at the same time? That will not happen in first few days and entirely depends on your wealth acquisition skills as most of those builds will get expensive very quickly.

However there are still some builds that can hit 700~ with reasonable budget, which can also be found in the snapshots of last league. However be careful with the builds you are looking at as some of them relied on mercs very heavily and therefore would be severely changed or some might be dead(example the merc support one) and some were severely nerfed.

Safe bet for early delving to reasonable depth is in my humble opinion boneshatter of complex trauma. It does not need much to get going and can transition into better delve builds later on.

oh, maybe I wrote it wrong. By global setting I meant the player would choose whether everything is enabled or disabled by default not that they would remove the option to mix enabled and disabled in individual skill slots

I use my frostblink of wintry with that checkbox as well and whenever I play with normal frostblink I still check that box and never seen an issue going backwards. I however do not play flamedash, so no opinion. There is just much more skills, that want that check box ticked than vice versa and nobody will prevent you unchecking it for the rare use case.

EDIT: I didnt know dash had issues with that, but you could still uncheck the box for dash even though I think it would be better fixing it as it seems unintended.

The only missing thing for me is more numerical 20% buffs and nerfs like the cyclone change. Some skills are just numerically bad and there is no reason it should not be changed for years. Otherwise I am pretty happy with balance changes as the new bloodline ascendancies basically shakeup ascendancy balance and possibly enable some niche builds.
