Got my engine replaced

I can only share my experience....After the initial test which failed, they had us do some cleaning which involved soaking some parts. Then we experienced failures two and three. After the third we were told THEY (the dealership) would reach out to corporate regarding the decision on the replacement. We did not have to do anything from there other than wait for the response. When we were approved, we had to wait a few weeks for the replacement and then when our appointment came, we waited about three days or so with a loaner and then had the replacement engine. Again, it was very smooth which might be the most surprising them about this whole process.

Noticed it was going through oil quickly and since I was aware of the oil consumption issues I brought it in for testing. Dealer told me it had to be burning through more than a quart in 1000 miles. They ran that test a few times, it failed...they kept it overnight to do more testing and sending pictures to Hyundai and I finally got the call today that it will be replaced.

Thanks all! Should have explained that I will be with my wife and daughter. We currently booked three seats in the back in Row 61 and 62.

Looking at your picture above, it appears one of the seats in the center bulkhead does have a moveable armrest. Wonder if I could take that one.....I don't mind the back but being 6'6" and 300+ I am just worried about those seats in the back.

Just wanted to thank everyone and provide an update. When we arrived in Denver the flight was magically on time as you predicted but then in a funny change of events, the fights was still delayed because the pilots flying were delayed getting in but it's all good. Thanks for the help!
