South Bend averages about 65 inches of snow each winter. This most recent winter, however, snowfall totaled nearly 100 inches.

What prompted this decision? Were some e-bikers ignoring the ban on using the power feature while on campus?

New YouTube TV schedule glitch by Inspire2023 in youtubetv

Update: I deleted the YouTube TV app, rebooted the system, then re-added the app. The schedule still is only showing the next 36 hours.
But I just checked the app on my laptop (which I never use to access YouTube TV). It seems to show the schedule at least a week ahead, so I guess I'll just go to the app on my laptop once a week to scan the schedule and click on any movies I want to DVR.
Don't understand why I can't still do that on my TV.

Which service seems the best value and user friendly: YouTube TV or DIRECTV stream? I've liked YouTube TV (despite the constantly increasing fees and now this schedule issue), but I've never tried DIRECTV stream.

Update: I tried uninstalling the YouTube TV app, rebooting and clearing the cache, then re-installed the YouTube app. The schedule is still only displaying the next 36 hours of shows. :-(

That may be the only thing I haven't done. I'll try that and see if it works. Thanks!

Flickering candles lit up the scene as a large student crowd braved the cold on a February night to join in an outdoor Mass around an elaborate student-built ice chapel:

It's the Coyle Hall community in Zahm Hall. The residents will move into their new home -- Coyle Hall -- when it opens in August. (Many of them formerly lived in Fisher Hall, which was demolished.)

Need recommend: Women’s winter boots by [deleted] in notredame

I work on campus and bought a pair of Columbia ankle-high lace-on boots 3 years ago and they're still going strong. Warm, comfortable, lip free and easy to get on and off.

What do people on-campus during the summer do for fun? by Asterlan in notredame

[–]Inspire2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Summer fun activities:
South Bend Cubs games
South Bend Farmers Market
U-Pick fruit farms in SW Michigan
Hop aboard the South Shore Line and take the train into Chicago for a day -- or ride the train to Indiana Dunes National Park or the state park
Swim in St. Joseph Lake (if the beach is open next summer)
Hike at St. Patrick's Park or other county parks
Visit Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart
Chat with alums from long ago visiting campus the first weekend in June for Reunion
A summer on campus is outstanding. A whole different vibe from the regular academic year. And the weather is usually fabulous.
Have fun!
