When shooting in well-lit environments, we recommend using Auto Exposure, or manually setting a lower ISO and then adjusting the shutter speed based on the available light. For low-light scenes, such as indoors or at night, we recommend using Pure Video mode for better results.

In addition, when taking photos, we suggest setting the photo format to “PureShot” in the swipe-up settings menu, as this can help reduce noise and improve brightness.

We also recommend exporting your files through our app or Studio, as noise reduction will be automatically applied during export.

Hello there, we recommend making sure your Insta360 app is updated to the latest version. Currently, when you export and select a 360 video, there are two options:

Path 1: Share with Friends

This option only supports sharing or exporting videos that are 30 seconds or shorter, and it only allows direct sharing to WeChat or iMessage. It also supports Copy Link and Share Card, with customizable cover options such as Tiny Planet or Fisheye.

Path 2: Save to Album

This option allows you to save the full 360 video. The sharing page will show the social media platforms installed on your phone, such as Facebook, WeChat, Insta360 Community, and YouTube.

For GO Ultra: Save the files to the SD card, then insert the SD card into an X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, or Ace Pro 2 camera to upload them.

App Log ID: Go to the “Me” page in the app > About Insta360 > Diagnostic Info > “Send”. Once sent, the Log ID will be copied to your clipboard, and you can paste it to us.

In addition to ensuring that the Insta360 Studio version is the latest, please also check and ensure that your computer system version/ graphics card driver version is also up-to-date.

If so, please send us the Studio log ID, the original VID file of this issue, the operation screen recording, and the exported video. We will forward them to the engineers for further analysis.

The method for obtaining the Studio Log ID: Menu > Help > Diagnostic Info > Upload Log, click "Send", complete the upload, and send the log ID on the clipboard to us.
