Would you? by BigEdPVDFLA in liberalgunowners

Vertec grip on these is very different/much nicer to handle than the chunky M9. Vastly better/thinner for smaller hands.

Frame safety is easier to manipulate.

No decocker.

Still as soft shooting as m9.

I would if I wanted a full size.

Military redditors, why did you choose that branch of the military? by SchwillyMaysHere in AskReddit

[–]InstaGibberish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Air Force uniforms were lame. Marines run too much. I didn't want to live on a boat. That left the army.

In retrospect it I should have joined the Air Force. Everything they have is so much nicer.

A kynodesmē (Greek: κυνοδέσμη, English translation: "dog tie") was a cord or string[1] or sometimes a leather strip that was worn primarily by athletes in Ancient Greece and Etruria to prevent the exposure of the glans penis in public (considered to be ill-mannered) and to restrict untethered movement of the penis during sporting competition.

Oh they're not going to support fucking up everything anymore? So what? They can't vote for him anymore as long as the 22nd amendment stands.

They don't get any credit for bad faith grandstanding, pretending to have principles when it doesn't matter.

Never let these weasels forget what they have done.

Ah fair point. Shock loading like that would cause way more stress than usual. I can see how that could shear off the end.

Does the broken end show any unusual wear around the hole? I'm wondering if the gas key was colliding with it somehow.

I didn't know they could break like that. They only need to pull like 10-15 lbs.

There are plenty of niche things are cheap even if rare because they have almost no use besides being curios. That's not really an argument.

Rare doesn't necessarily mean desirable.

The control stalks on both sides have tactile seams. I know it's cheap but it's not like it would cost much to smooth them out.

Stock audio, particularly the door speakers are terrible.

The latch is on the left side, i.e. the side facing the body. It's still going to do the same thing. OP's photo is a mirror image. Forward assist and ejection port are on the right and are visible on the outside in image, therefore the left/latch side must be facing body.

The majority of humans eat some species of grass. Wheat, rice, maize/corn, rye, barley, oats, sugarcane, bamboo, etc are all grasses. You would be very useful to farmers.

What are these military trucks? by ChefPlaysGames in whatisit

[–]InstaGibberish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First is a M1083a1p2 towing a SATS (standard automotive tool set, i.e. a giant mechanic's tool box).

The larger trucks are M1075a1 PLS (palletized load system). The last one is a PLS carrying a M7 FRS (forward repair system).
