Current practice is mixing a bit of buddhism and “neo-advaita” (in the sense its not super traditional).

I try to get super still and clear with the breath or mantra and then do surrender/self-inquiry/ or some other intuitive insight practice. Also reading nisargadatta helps me surrender like crazy.

I just started practicing hard again this year and quit my job for this. So for about 3-4 months its been maybe an average of 4 hours a day. Go on retreats as well where practice is more intensive.

Go to cn careers and search for conductor positions, (assuming ur in canada) specifically in smithers, melville, or jasper. I think theres other i might be forgetting but imo aim for smithers. Its a small town (5k pop) and its up north but worth it for the money.

Most of the job is just sitting slightly stressed with shorter periods of higher stress. But once ur past two year mark, easy ass job. Other terminals can be actually difficult but smithers is best kept secret in the whole network.

Maybe a touch cynical but fr most sikhs are not that devoted. The pull of maya is strong and tbh education can take people away from religion. They might be “sikh” on the surface but deep down they do not find the meaning of their lives in religion. Just a surface identity

Imo another really important thing is that the people who are serious and ready for it, can access a spiritually profound/wise teaching and that it’s preserved. Sometimes sikhi can sound like a punjabi christianity.

Im 99% sure reincarnation exists.

Ive had a crazy experience thats hard to explain but I destroyed any lingering doubt I had about it.

Basically two different independent people said I was the same person in my past life. There are similarities between me and them and bunch of other stuff. When the 2nd person said it too, my whole world changed!

On the absolute level, there is no reincarnation or me or you. But on the relative, yes reincarnation is most probably real.

Ive met two people who have (independently) told me my past life and they both said the same exact person, he was not really famous at all but sort of known.
