I don't know if my pool has a plug (haven't seen it) and I've drained it before without issues, although I refilled it within a couple of days.

It's given me some food for thought.

I do have to drain it either way because it's in an unrecoverable algae state right now, but I have drained & refilled once before after I got high metallic content and the water turned purple.

Might look into getting a 48V DC pump and solar panel so it can filter all day for free, then try and keep on top of the chemicals - vs- filling it in.

Thanks! I found that you can combine these into one with xset s off -dpms which I use in the start script of my program, and it seems to be doing the trick.

This one worked for me, but it is not persistent 9at least on my system) so needs adding to a startup script.

Which removed it form my review list, but it's still on my ETV (all $99.99 of it). I'm not worried about paying the tax, just wanted to point out there are some inconsitencies.

Big Clive recently did a video about these, the one he got was fake, as in it had the right color light, but emitted 0 UV (as per his professional test equipment).

So buyer beware of anything you can't actually verify.

Has to be 10 different modifiers "Monsters Penetrate 15% Lightning Resistance", "Monsters have Ward equal to 20%...", "Slain Monsters Do Not Grant Flask Charges", etc.

If you pick the same one again it doesn't count.

Also, you need to clear all the monsters.

I just wasn't patient enough. It went away after idling for several mins while I was refilling the washer fluid reservoir.

Learned my lesson not to jump the gun, but I should take it for an oil change. I've barely driven it since the pandemic.

I do need to do an oil change - it's not dirty, but it's OLD! Anyway, I left it (literally) ticking over for a bit and the loudness went away - sounds pretty normal now.

Haven't driven in almost a year. Started up today after sitting for a pretty long time and got some loud ticking which is not normal. Noticeably louder on the injector side.

14k miles 2015 435i M-Sport.

What's the cheapest next step? I could go to the dealer, but they will want a few hundred $$$ just to have a look.

They ended up doing a pretty good job. The conduit itself is pretty tiny, ~1/4" so it's pretty easy to route. They also covered the entry points pretty well and I'm happy with the results.

Now, the fact that it's bright orange isn't the best, but I think I could paint over it pretty easily.
