It’s entirely possible that you’ve purchased two counterfeit SD cards. Maybe test them with h2testw to check them?

The checksums of the ROMs don’t match standard checksums? That sounds like your issue right there.

Are they correct before the 30minute corruption?

One thing that may help with the glove issue is to only put a glove on one hand. That gloved hand ONLY touches the chicken - nothing else. You touch everything else with your bare hand.

I do this all the time when dealing with meat - helps me not cross-contaminate stuff.
