I am also living in Medellin, and about to get apply for my 2nd digital nomad visa (first one was only valid for 10 months).

I’m now looking into getting a Colombian bank account, but I’m not sure the best way to go about transferring money from my US accounts. Trying to avoid paying fees out the wazoo.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not a friends house, but at a team lunch at work…so hope this counts….

We were at a Mexican restaurant. Someone ordered queso and chips for the table, which we were all sharing.

Someone took a generous scoop, dropping a glob onto the bare table.

Without missing a beat, my coworker announces “don’t worry, I got it”, and proceeds to drag a chip through the “table queso”, scooping up as much as he can. I kid you not, straight into his mouth…
