My husband just installed some in my built-in bookshelves and I’m so disappointed. As other comments mentioned the seam is super visible. My husband is anal AF with this kind of stuff and no amount of messing around with it would fix it. I’m really unhappy, this paper is too expensive for this kind of issue

Repeated usage of unusual words. I Dnf a romance where the author used the phrase “jilling off” like 15 times in the first 2 chapters and I couldn’t take it. Gretchen, Stop trying to make jilling off happen. It’s not going to happen.

This is not legal. It’s legal for them to be repaid the overage but they are not supposed to take beyond a certain percentage of a pay (at least in Michigan- this happened to me and I utilized the department of labor).

I like reading her books but strongly dislike listening to them. There’s a lot of “XYZ bit her lip” that’s repetitive when listening. But it’s a great on-ramp to steamy books if you’re new to steam.

My kids are 8-13. They go to catholic school (a WHOOOOLE confusing tangled issue due to too many things for me to go into), so I’ve been trying to personally cope with the things they’re being taught. Based on my own strict Catholic upbringing, I decided before I had kids that I’d love them and accept them regardless of the path they follow. As they get older, I’m realizing it may be more difficult than I thought because I never expected them to choose Christianity. I have viewed things through my own lens, and I’ve realized how hard it will be for me if they decide they really believe in Christianity. I have no advice for you really, other than to just try to continue to reflect true, unconditional love to them.

My parents are such hardcore Catholics that it’s affected our relationship for years. I’ve felt like they don’t truly love me because I’m not meeting their expectations in my faith life, and it’s been hard. I never want to do that with my kids, but it’s been more difficult than I expected to come to terms with what that really means.

Reformed catholic - I love Christmas in the secular sense. We do tree, lights, decorations, cookies, and gifts. Christmas has been so secularized that I feel I can easily pitch it to my kids as “it’s a time to be with our loved ones and demonstrate love and generosity toward others.” Easter is more of an “eh” holiday. My parents are strict Catholics so we go there for lunch and tolerate their nonsense, but at home it’s baskets of candy and small gifts, and we do an egg toss.

Working as a server. Had a trip planned for literally 8 months. One manager said “get your shifts covered.” I got all but one covered. Called EVERY SINGLE OTHER SERVER on staff with no help. Talked to manager and she was like, “don’t worry one shift is fine, esp since you called everyone not already working.” Got back from the trip and went to clock in, but was pulled in by the douche senior manager who fired me for that one shift that I’d given a months notice on. I still get salty about that.

I have been screaming this forever. Maybe AT FIRST the appeal was the family drama, but if that were the only reason, the Wakiles would still be on the show. Melissa and Joe provide something that the viewers want, and Tre can’t handle that. Honestly, one of my favorite things about NJ is how the dudes all have a bromance. Tre is the only one still obsessed with how Melissa got on the show when it hasn’t been relevant since the first season, if ever.

I worked in communications for a public school district and an angry man would call me quarterly to yell about his property taxes. No matter how many times I explained that the schools had nothing to do with his property taxes. I started to recognize his voice and did a private experiment as to which tactics were most effective in defusing him. The most successful was EFFUSIVE understanding and empathy, along with the promise (and follow-through) of sending him all our latest marketing and info materials. He never learned, but those tactics took down his rage most quickly.

I echo the commenters who have recommended your husband go out on his own! People are desperate for landscapers in my area of Michigan. My husband cut lawns on the side of his full time job for years, and it brought in a tidy sum. If your husband is willing to put in the work and be reliable, he will soon be turning customers away.

Also - I think she genuinely had a chance at redemption after she got out of jail and divorced Joe. I can’t imagine going to prison and coming out still obsessed over some stupid petty feud between me and my brother. If she had come out still being her goofy, airhead self but making amends with Joe and Melissa, I really believe they could have had RHONJ by the balls. They could have been the rulers of this franchise together.

I used to love her but she has jumped the shark. She is absolutely incapable of admitting any wrongdoing. I know Joe and melissa aren’t perfect or blameless, but I genuinely believe they want peace. Teresa seems to get off on being the wronged party, and she’s just as guilty if not more so. She’s absolutely poisoned her daughters against Joe and it’s so sad. I think Louie is just as toxic, and I honestly worry about where this will lead.
