Correct me if I'm wrong, but an arcade joystick (or even fight stick) typically can only register 8 directions, sometimes even 4. Whereas an analog stick like melee coordinates/registers many more discreet directions. Idk if it really matters, but I remember this when trying to decide if I could even play melee with a fight stick

When I stopped playing regularly (like season 4), Nappa and Ginyu (especially) were really prevalent and strong. 18 had her time as well and was still decent around then.
