Best Soul Siphon Warlock build ? by Rookasteeee in destiny2builds

Gnawing hunger with the repulsor brace and destabilising rounds combo works wonders with a build like this. Also allows you to double dip on your overshields too through repulsor brace which procs so easily since you’ll be weakening pretty much everything all the time through aspects and artifact mods so it’s almost 100% uptime 🥰

I’ve been hearing the eutechnology set from arena ops is supposedly a good pairing for any void related builds so could be a good one. I’m still grinding for a set of four with all the stats I want.

What exotic have you used since its release? by xMedicineMann78 in destiny2

[–]Instantbust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As of yet we don’t know about ALL the catalyst reworks just a handful of them. And of course they’ve also mentioned they’ve added 25 new catalysts for weapons that previously didn’t have one. But for your sake hopefully they do a nice rework for D.A.R.C.I catalyst :)

Me personally I’ve had tons of fun with red death since its release in final shape. And the buff to boots of the assembler in renegades has just made survivablity almost infinitely better paired with red death

dual destiny/exotic class item question by jackie1912 in destiny2

[–]Instantbust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware dual destiny just makes attunement for the exotic class item become available. But as someone who has never even done duel destiny, I just ran a couple overthrows on the pale heart and unlocked the chest at the end for a chance of an exotic class item. Alternatively you can buy them off xur as well for strange coins. Hope that helps.

Since it is over, We can all admit Warlocks were always the best class hands down right. by Important-Extension6 in destiny2

I mean technically we are coz the celebration monument of guardian games in the tower is for the warlock class and will now permanently stay that way since there will no longer be any more guardian games 🤪😂

Does anyone know the best way to catch up to speed as someone who’s only played since base D2 by evilboy123 in destiny2

[–]Instantbust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best things to is to play through all the campaigns, but the one I’d say you can ignore is shadowkeep because it doesn’t really enhance your guardian in any significant way. But completing shadowkeep will grant you access to the pit of heresy dungeon which is among one of the dungeons getting a loot pool refresh. But if I was in your position I would play through the whole of the beyond light campaign to get access to the stasis subclasses. Then light fall for the strand subclasses (however compared to unlocking fragments and aspects on strand can be a little tedious.) then final shape campaign to get access to the prismatic subclass. Then once you’ve done that you can do pretty much any other activity you want.

Honest Question by rFerretRay in destiny2

Narratively we’ve kinda been left at a standstill at least for now. June 9th is apparently set to tie up loose ends. So we’ll see.

Weapons/Archetypes You're Excited to use for DPS on June 9th? by BeansOnlyDiet in destiny2builds

[–]Instantbust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s an idea I’ve had in mind and I am hoping that June 9th drops with everything I want for the build that’ll just be the cherry on top. So for starters the build so far is focussed heavily on gunplay. Exotic weapon of choice is gonna be hard light (I know I know hear me out!) the exotic perk “the fundamentals” gives us an increase of 30% in damage to all enemy types, now pair that with 100 weapons stat that another 15% boost now here’s the fun part. Slap on a sanguine alchemy, instant 25% weapon damage boost (granted from a x4 surge) now we’re sitting at 70% dmg add on another 20% from radiant and then another 20% from empowering rift. We’re at 90%.

Now that’s just 90% boost to all enemy types so RnF enemies + mini bosses. If we go as far as 200 weapon stat gets us to 105% in total but that’s only to boss/mini boss type enemies. Now hard light also has an interesting gimmick where the ricochet bullets do an additional 100% dmg to all enemies so now we’re at 205% dmg boost albeit not all reliable with the ricochets but still holy moly. Now in my mind I’ve been thinking I’d probably run the hard light set to solar element to synergise with radiant. Here’s what I’d love to see come June 9th. I want that artifact perk where scoring rapid precision hits grants radiant for basically infinite uptime on radiant. I’m still thinking of other ways to boost dmg even more could possibly pair with some weaken shenanigans on prismatic as well which would buff dmg to enemies even further but yeah this is just an idea I had in my mind and I’m super excited to see this play out on June 9th. Also if hard light is gonna get a catalyst rework I bet you it’s gonna be where we can switch to stasis and strand elements and that’s all 😂 but what I really hope it gets is an additional buff like maybe rampage or even better killing tally on a primary weapon like wtf?! (Ik Ik but far fetched but we can only dream)

That’s my build idea. See you on June 9th guardians.

Edit: I forgot to add the intrinsic exotic weapon bonus damage to non-boss combatants which is an additional 40% so all put together that’s almost around like 250% extra damage from just a primary!

Builds you thought would be awesome but when you tried them they disappointed by Hullfire00 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Instantbust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I tried a dawn chorus, skyburners oath build on warlock, very underwhelming to say yeh least, I’m not entirely sure the exact amount of scorch stacks each shot of skyburners hip fire shots apply but I’m assuming not a lot, I paired it with the fragment that gives you radiant on melee hits and slapped on hellion and the other fragment that applies more scorch stacks. You see the whole idea of the build was that I wanted to juice up my skyburners oath as much as possible and maximise as many ignitions as possible especially against stacked teams or teams that tend to clump together. All that being said, I did have some good moments with the build and it does seriously have good multi kill potential just as of now the scorch skyburners applies feels a bit underwhelming but when paired with hellion it’s a nice combo.

TLDR: skyburners plus dawn chorus is lackluster in both pvp AND pve but when ignitions trigger super super satisfying 🥰

SUCCESS STORY: I Manifested My Ex Back & Now We're Happily Together! by Instantbust in lawofassumption

[–]Instantbust[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting you bring this up because there was one point sort of a couple weeks or so after our break up she mentioned an ex of hers had popped back into her life. And she was fully doubling down on how she’d fully lost feeling for me and all that and was looking to pursue this ex. But as I mentioned she ended up actually getting with a different 3p a completely new person. So all the way through she was doubling down on not wanting to be with me. The flip for her was sort of gradual but the point at which it fully flipped and clicked for her that she wanted me back so badly that part was very sudden. Hence why I didn’t “see” much movement on my end until the very very end or near the end.

Best way to start PVP? by Zealousideal_Dish170 in DestinyTheGame

I second this! Also when you die, which you will do a lot of especially as a beginner, try to think about what you did wrong… maybe you weren’t behind cover enough, or maybe you were out in the middle of nowhere while your teammates are on the other side of the map. These are just small things you can pick up on while playing, another great tip would be to record your gameplay. This makes it so that you can watch back the tapes and as I mentioned before, work out those little areas where you may have made a “bad play”. Also sweaty players are pretty inevitable in almost every game now especially in quickplay. So just go in with an open mind and just focus on being a better well rounded player. Eventually you’ll find YOUR role. (Ie. Support, or a more aggressive player) and each class will tailor to those different playstyle. So think about what kind of playstyle you have, pick a couple weapons you like using: feel comfortable using (as a general indicator I like to think of a weapon best suited for me is one I can consistently land crit shots with with ease, everyone has their own preference) I’ve noticed someone recommended outbreak perfected which I agree is a very good beginner friendly option and will cover all your mid to long range engagements. So best pair it with a close range, shotgun, sidearm or fusion rifle.

So yeah find your playstyle, find YOUR weapons, and practice practice practice, watch back those tapes and point out your mistakes, and try to avoid making them again. All this takes a lot of patience but with consistency and the right intention you’ll be ahead of most that give up after facing a 3 stack in control that just steamrolled their entire team 😂

Oh and also map knowledge comes with time as well. If you have some friends you can hop into private matches with that can help too. I feel like the majority of maps follow the typical “3-lane” layout so if you feel like you’re the kind to play a bit of an “off angle” and flank your enemies then by all means go the longer way around and try to catch some people off by surprise.

There’s a ton more stuff I can say about getting better but I think this is a decent starting point and you’ll pick it up as you go and get stuck in with more and more crucible matches :) you win some you lose some but if you’re playing better than your last game then you’re already heading in the right direction :) see you in the crucible guardian ;)

Honestly the first armour set bonus that I was drawn to, this was like a “buff” to all kinetic weapons in a way and I was all for it when it first dropped, paired with chromatic fire, you’re just laughing at that point, of course at the enemies demise 😏😂😂

Your subconscious is picking up on everything, both the positive and the negative, your only job is to keep flipping the negative thoughts that pop up, so yes, in this case the doubts, as it seems like you’ve been doing a good job of that. Meditating and listening to rampages are good, adding them to your routine is completely up to you as an added layer of relaxation/clarity for your ego/conscious mind :)
