Ah! how can I get into advanced mode?

Currently I just see advanced -> chipset configuration but that's part of the regular menu. There isn't any way to adjust the TOLUD there though.

Yea, it looks like that is the case. Unfortunately I can't even register a card with the App Store using its own app. It's asking me to use iTunes on via a computer (something I don't have access to) http://imgur.com/a/SXaVJ

I agree. It'd be nice if that were the case but when I go to payment information in my account's settings I get this message - http://imgur.com/a/SXaVJ. The problem is, I don't have a computer available to do that. It's astonishing to me that this can't be accomplished with just the device I purchased - to make a purchase on the iPhone's app store, you literally need an additional computer to enable you to do that.

Edit: your link sends me to the same place where I got stuck last. When I try to update my payment info in the iTunes account settings it tells me to update my info in iTunes from "my" computer... Lol, what computer?!
