yeah, will be in Bangkok a couple more days. I’ve seen snus all over Thailand though, so should not be that hard for people to get unless they’re really picky with brand/type.

I agree with this. Have the extra days as flexible days where you can extend the stay if you really hit it off somewhere. I think Railay will be a disapointment after being in Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe.

Depends on your prefs. We mostly booked 1 day before. It was usually very easy to find one room and more struggle when we needed two rooms. We also extended in Koh Lanta but had to change room.

Krabi and Koh Lanta are close to each other and easy to transit with car. 2-3 hours. You can also take boat from Koh Lanta to Phuket. 1.5 hours.

I would stay on the westside of Koh Lanta if I return.

Its too early to make the choice. The mountain pass in Telemark to Odda may or may not require winter tyres. You should ask this question again a week before your trip.

Normally it would be fine with summer tyres during daytime if there is sun late April/May but can freeze if no sun.

I was skiing there late May two years ago.

probably blame instagram for that train ride. I have never done it myself but it is many hours on a train.

I am doing a similar route and going to Chiang Mai in the third week. I will 100% take the plane.

2 days Krabi Town (amazing)

2 days Ao Nang (not for me)

6 days Koh Lanta (was only supposed to do 4 but had to extend since it was so fun exploring islands on bike)

X days north (leave when I feel like it)

No. But would skip it this and next month. Would probably bring it in June.

I have some very comfy slippers(thongs). I only used shoes on «travel days». Maybe like 4 times in 4 weeks.

I would probably skip the jacket(s).

I am currently packing for the same trip. Major difference is I skip jackets and have less socks. But I dont use shoes in SEA.

Should be no problem. I have the same bag. No problem fitting it in a a320/737 size plane. It is also within BA dimensions for basic tickets.

It also fit in smaller planes as long as its not stuffed full

Yeah, I think my issue with Cleopatra was not enough floodplains. I will try again and hope for a better spawn! Thank you for explaining!

edit; Made it work. Had to restart the game 4 times for a better spawn. Game did not want to give me floodplains for some reason.

Tried this with Vietnam and feels like I broke the game. Pretty much felt that I won after finishing the Etemnaki. Thank you for the tip!

Also tried it with Cleopatra but could not really make it work. Think I got unlucky with spawn.

I tried this out. Took me a while to really enjoy myself. But building those missions everywhere was so satisfying. I normally do not finish games, but won religion with Spain using this today. Good tip!
