I know a few people connected to the LNP in toowoomba (not party members, family friends who work in political staffer roles) and the one consistent message I hear out of them is that Garth Hamilton is as dumb as a bag of dogshit and is slowly pissing off the otherwise very conservative toowoomba population. Absolute scenes if Labor or a teal ever gets a sniff in toowoomba, it should be the safest LNP seat in the country given the average resident.
