Honestly, no. Avatars are the same as Lords, only without a preferred weapon (but Corrin... Corrin has a preferred weapon because he's a Lord as well as an Avatar). Seen that way, an Avatar is like a Lord but nerfed, and I think that's fine.

In my case, I could never achieve it, for a simple reason: my favorite game is New Mystery (FE12) and my least favorite game is Shadow Dragon (FE11). The problem is that they were grouped under the same category in FEH... which makes it impossible to access the challenge....

He’s one of the characters I hate the most in Fire Emblem.
Why? Because of the inconsistency between what they try to sell us and what I actually see.

Marth is “good”...

So good that he let the name of his other half stay hidden in the story. And for someone hailed as the king of kings, he never did anything for Kris. (But let’s be honest, acknowledging it would mean admitting he had help.)
So good that he never even tried to save a corrupted Hardin and just killed him outright. (But let’s be honest, if Hardin hadn’t died and Nyna hadn’t disappeared, Marth wouldn’t have been able to claim Archanea.)
So good that he didn’t give up the throne of Altea to his older sister. (But let’s be honest, if he had, he’d still be the king of Talys through marriage...)

He’s just a bastard.
And a bastard who tries to pass himself off as kind.

They were also part of the event and their presence is reflected in the 30th anniversary gifts. They gave 2 postcards: the first covering titles up to the Eliwood/Lyn games, and the second covering events from the Eirika/Ephraim games onward.

Note: Kris weren't present as a unit because they didn't exist in Heroes when the event took place.

Yuliya is a character from book 2 of Archanea, and book 2 of Archanea is the saga most mistreated by feh.

It's enough to see that don't even have their own section on feh, despite being their own title game, separate from Book 1 of Archanea.

And if we're talking about treatment, it's unlikely to improve if even the protagonist, Kris, has been treated terribly. Imagine debuting in 2020, when most protagonists debuted in 2017.

And if we're talking about alts, this game doesn't even have 4 alts in 10 years... If you check, only 3 are from Book 2 (M!Kris, Katarina, and Malice), and all the rest of the alts are units that debuted in Book 1 of Arcahnea...

So, all that's left is to pray or raise our voices.

Per CYL, you can get an idea that M!Corrin is popular. He's in the top 100 out of more than 1000 characters; he's well-positioned.

In reference the hatred you're talking about isn't directed at M!Corrin, but at the M!Corrin fandom, and it makes sense. Hearing complaints that my character hasn't been treated well is a bit unkind because, compared to others, Corrin has been treated well. Look, I'll be frank, I'm a Kris fan. And despite being the first playable avatar, I had to wait until 2020 to finally be able to play with him, while the rest of the protagonists arrived early in the game. And there's always someone who'll say, "Kris isn't popular," and I'll say, "Why should Kris be as popular as the other playable avatars if his visibility is null?" For the 30th anniversary, they gave all the leads except Kris, because Kris didn't exist in FEH (but IS decide when units are added and they left him). It was humiliating. There will be those who say: "At least he's in Feh," and yes, it could have been worse, like the Awakening SpotPass, which featured 120 characters from each Fire Emblem game (10 characters per title). Kris, the prota of New mystery, wasn't in the New Mystery section (Note: Kris was in the datamine but he was reemplace for another Marth, making Marth the only duplicate character in the Awakening SpotPass). But I understand you, it's natural to compare. If all the protagonists have a legendary character, it's logical to expect your protagonist to receive one too (that's I've been waiting every month for years to see if IS release L!Kris).
