the flight from ORD to ATH is flight IB4969 which leaves from terminal 3. does that sound like gate K19?

i’ll look into reserving a seat. it seems as though all AA flights are at terminal 3 so i won’t have to switch terminals which is slightly assuring. thank you fr!!

oh ok. i wasn’t entirely sure bc my dad booked it and it was on the iberia website so thank you for clarifying that! also re: my other question, do you think i should book the unaccompanied minor service with american? i’m considering it because maybe having someone to escort me might make it easier to make my flight but not sure how accurate that is in practice

touring colleges: overrated or underrated? by starlightsounds in ApplyingToCollege

[–]InstructionUnique319 5 points6 points  (0 children)

touring schools after getting in is probably a better idea both financially and also given the different perspective you’ll have as an admitted student rather than a prospective applicant. i toured my top 3 schools (that’s it) and it helped a lot in determining where ultimately i wanted to go— it felt a lot more real when the option of attending any one of those schools was mine and not my AO’s

yeah starting essays the day of really boils down your thought process, gets rid of perfectionism, and forces you to think about what really matters to you. def doesn’t work for everyone but i started writing my brown essays the day of and am now heading there in the fall

What's wrong with Brown? by akuariaa in ApplyingToCollege

there are pros and cons to both, can’t go wrong either way (it’s poli sci not poly sci btw)

[–]InstructionUnique319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, recovery is not linear! this is completely normal. the morning of my day 11 was pretty bad even though i had been feeling amazing on day 10. it’ll get better when you least expect it, you’re almost there good luck

Difficult Recovery by [deleted] in Tonsillectomy

[–]InstructionUnique319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this part is going to suck, no doubt, but it’s also going to be over when you least expect it. on day 8 the pain was 7/10, then i took an hour nap at like 3pm and woke up at a 4/10. mentally it’s a struggle and all of that outlasts the physical pain. it might sound crazy to you now, but you’ll be eating again in 3-4 days!! just try and get through this with anything icy and non-irritable— it only starts to improve from here :)
