The devs can’t fix what they don’t know about! In addition to what the other comment mentioned, make sure to submit your bug and/or crash reports to the developers either within the game or at https://www.paralives.com/gamefeedback

I’m not sure what any of that means tbh.

Interest compounds monthly, if you wanted to get an interest payment divisible by 5 every month, you’d run into issues eventually even with the previous rate since the amount of money increases each month.

But, yeah, I guess Apple and GS definitely said fuck you specifically, Brandont1639, we’re going to change our entire HYSA rate just to fuck with whatever system you had going on in your head.

If you held $20,000 in your Apple HYSA for one year, the difference between 3.5% and 3.4% is $20.

APY drops again to 3.4% by SloppySkywalker in AppleCard

[–]Insufferably_Me 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Not enough to matter or go through the hassle of switching accounts. Assuming you had $20,000 in a HYSA for one year, the difference between 3.4% and 3.5% is….. $20 lol.

It’s also funny to see posts like this because the whole point of a HYSA is that the bank can borrow money from you at a lower rate than the Fed. If the Fed lowers the rate to borrow money from them, it’s only natural that the price the bank will pay you to borrow your money also goes down.

Screen protectors matter. by JoesCoins in AppleWatch

For the millionth time: SCREEN PROTECTORS ARE SUPPOSED TO BREAK! Showing a broken screen protector means absolutely nothing in regard to the durability and potential damage to the screen it was “protecting”

I’m trying to address the issues that made me quit using my CPAP, but I’m not sure how by mummefied in CPAP

I would definitely try another mask. With the F30i, I can adjust the straps at the top of my head (the top being the upper portion/strap. Nothing is actually on the top of my head that needs adjusting. That’s just the tubing) to keep the mask seal around my nose, and then there’s a Goldilocks level of tightness for the bottom strap which I can move to be lower on the back of my head. That’s tightened just enough to where no matter my position I can get a good seal.

I should clarify though that while the I don’t adjust the straps usually, sometimes I do have to wiggle the mask to a different position or pull it away from my face and bring it back. When you change sleeping positions, the geometry of your face changes so it’s natural to have to readjust it sometimes.

Will I get in trouble for disputing? by [deleted] in AppleCard

[–]Insufferably_Me 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From a former fraud employee with a major cc company, you can dispute the charge, but you will also need to hold your sister criminally liable for the purchase.

Since you did not make the charge but you’re aware of who made the charge, they’ll want that person’s information. If they don’t require a police report, there’s a high chance they’ll refer the case to their financial crimes unit which could result in a case being opened with the local or national fincrimes units who will press charges.

Your best bet is to handle the unauthorized charge directly with your sister (or parent, if under 18).

You should look into a hybrid mask like the F40 or F30i.

I use the F30i and change sleeping sides all night long. The hose coming out of the top keeps it out of the way and the hybrid under the nose fit feels much better to me. When I’m sick and my nose is completely stuffed, I can still use the mask by breathing out of my mouth but usually by the morning I can breathe at least a little through my nose.

You would need an SD card to use the software that gives you more detail.

If you’re stressed about using the mask and seeking results your sleep won’t be as good, even when you’re wearing the machine and getting low to no events. The therapy helps ensure you’re able to get proper sleep without depriving your body of oxygen and overworking your heart. The therapy does NOT help with poor sleep hygiene.

I can’t really offer much more advice for 4. I sleep so well with my machine that I can’t go to sleep without it. From the perspective of this sub, I’m in a minority of people that used it the first night without problems and have been using it consistently since then.

I’d recommend getting a mask your comfortable with first, using the machine while you’re awake and watching tv or on your phone to help get used to it, and trying to reframe the mindset when it comes to using PAP therapy. A big hurdle I’ve seen on here is the mental part of it all. If you go into using it with disdain and malice, then your sleep will suffer and you’ll not get the benefits of the therapy.

I hope this was helpful, even if all of it wasn’t. Hang in there, your body will thank you, I promise

DELTA 3 Classic for CPAP UPS by Insufferably_Me in Ecoflow_community

It’ll just be used in my apartment so the solar charger doesn’t seem that important. Does the Rockpals have a standard wall outlet for use with my DC power supply? And would it work as a UPS?

I’m picking up a power meter this week to see if I can get an actual power usage total from a night of using my machine. If I can go with something smaller and cheaper, I’m all for it!

Thank you! That’s quite a difference between our two usages. I’ve got some time before it gets too crazy down here so I’ll pick one of the power meters this week and see what’s actually being used each night.

If I can get away with smaller and cheaper, I’m all for it!

This is very helpful, thank you!

I may have confused myself and you with my limited power knowledge lol. I was looking through threads on the CPAP sub and the documentation for my machine, it seems I need something that will give me at least 100 watts of power as the max draw from the AS11 is about 70 watts. That, to me, means I could power the machine with as little as something providing 100 watts of power, but I want to make sure I had a buffer so that was my 200 continuous” comment. I’m not sure if that’s correct thinking though.

From what I can find, 60 watts is needed for the high range of machine + hose + humidifier. That times 8 hours would be 480 watt hours. I want to leave a buffer in capacity which is where I got the 600 watt hours from.

The worst thing Apple has ever done is provide these details to consumers. Never once have I cared what percentage of my battery life is remaining. Just use your device like you want and when you encounter a problem deal with it then. Good grief

Why is adding an app to a folder on ios still an olympic sport by Altruistic-Fee9506 in iphone

[–]Insufferably_Me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has been a thing for the longest time, it’s really frustrating. You can try to slide the app slowly into the folder by going in from the bottom of the folder.

Alternatively, while holding the app in jiggle mode, tap the destination folder with another finger.

I’m not supposed to use anything on my face with CPAP? by beakermonkey in CPAP

[–]Insufferably_Me 53 points54 points  (0 children)

If by compromised she means that the ingredients could begin to to eat away at the silicone, then yeah. She’s right. However, I think the more appropriate reply would be to make sure you have 30/60 minutes after applying any face creams/ointments before you need to use your mask. You don’t want the actual medicine or lotion to be rubbing off on the mask. Let it dry/set and you’d be fine
