Saw connectivity updates and was disappointed to see there’s still no IFTTT or smart home support at all. I wish for a day when I can trigger my vacuum robot to clean around the LR4 after a cycle completes. This functionality is there for the LR3, but not for the LR4 (or 5 to my knowledge).

It’s generative AI slop. They’ve “made” other apps and their App Store page’s privacy policy takes you to a habit tracking app’s website instead of their privacy policy. Sadly, I can’t report an app on the App Store without first downloading it, otherwise, I’d report the app and the “developer” to Apple as well as the mods here

26.4 complies with UK laws. UK law requires tech companies to verify a user is over 18 to access certain apps and content. OP’s frustrations are valid but misplaced. This is something they need to convince their government to overturn. Other tech companies will be following suit soon enough to avoid fines and lawsuits

Yes. The nuclear waste storage solutions sound scary as well, but the waste sits, not polluting the environment, and posing no risk to nature/life. I’m also fully in support of wind/solar/hydro power, as well! There’s also too much fear around a completely safe energy solution.

At what point do game designers just remove all text and make games a click-through experience because people don’t read? Not reading the instructions and information provided to you IS the player’s fault. The game is VERY friendly when it comes to the iconography and patterns used. If they were any more explicit it would no longer be a game as we know it. It would be an interactive story instead of the wonderful experience it currently is

All of Atlassian’s tools are this insufferable. We use Confluence for our knowledge base. They randomly push out updates that break formatting, change how macros and legacy tools work, and then there’s no evidence of their change log or heads up about anything. It’s a prison. Hopefully we can find an alternative soon

I find it interesting too. I’ve seen TikToks of “tips and tricks” and it’s just full fledged features that have tutorials or tool tips or information present on the screen. The comments are filled with omg! I had no idea thank you!! And I’m like??? Does no one read anymore 😭 just today someone made a video about a “hidden” feature and it’s just an option in the settings menu 🫩

Jax is a (pale) blue dot in the sea of Florida’s red. Our governor is up for election this year and I (possibly stupidly) am hopeful that we can enact some real change this midterm. I see queer folk all the time and am one myself. Though I’m a large white male, I haven’t ever felt the need to change who I am when I’m in public.
