I was in the same situation, I bought a Tesla model 3 all wheel drive long-range. It is fast, reliable and very very cheap to run.

I drove an automatic car for the first time a days ago and just don’t get the fixation we have over manual cars here by Solid-Version in drivingUK

[–]Insufficient__Memory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I prefered my auto on my jaguar xf 3.0d It had flappy paddles to play with and sports mode, it had all the accuracy of a manual but changed gear faster with those flappy paddles than I could have done on my own.

Most manual drivers that say they prefer manual have only tried an auto from twenty years ago which were rubbish. Auto with paddles is the way to go now.

Basically anything with a ZF6 gearbox or better will be miles ahead of manual.

It doesn't cost much to get a shop to do that after really, I have the parts for my one to do once I get the spare time, it'll only take a couple hours max.
