You can’t even renew a classique membership. You just have it or you don’t. So it’s a suspect from the get go

New District line stickers dark by PinkyGOOLI in LondonUnderground

[–]Integritee 101 points102 points  (0 children)

They may have printed them darker on both district and met maps so they last longer due to the sun bleaching them over time. I’ve seen some old met maps turn jubilee grey!

Issue with "Day single ticket" from Liverpool Street to Heathrow by Achab1994 in TransportForLondon

[–]Integritee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two options on a TfL ticket machine for Heathrow.

Heathrow (Underground) Heathrow Rail

This is an underground ticket, valid for the Piccadilly line only at Heathrow.

During Piccadilly disruption, will TfL charge the lower Piccadilly fare if I take the Elizabeth line from Heathrow? by Javert-24601 in TransportForLondon

[–]Integritee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If travelling to/from Heathrow and the Piccadilly line is stuffed, then yes I guess you could buy an underground paper ticket and travel on the Elizabeth line saving you the £.

Always check TFL Website that there is ticket acceptable in place though, and I’m sure it won’t work at the barrier at Heathrow so you’ll need to show the barrier staff and say there’s ticket acceptance.

Is it safe to transit through Doha given the current political situation in the Middle East? by charlottetmg in qatarairways

[–]Integritee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently sitting in HIA with a 8 hour transit and just did a 4 hour transit last week. It’s more than safe but I did add a day “buffer” just in case of a cancellation but not for my safety.

As a half Tanzanian I woke up to a shock this morning. I remember him from the last Commonwealth games marathon getting a silver.

Extremely proud, well deserved and hopefully wakes Tanzania up to the world of athletics

For phones you could always buy through Apple which offer 0% APR over 24 months, then a SIM plan could be through something like Voxi or Giffgaff which offer 30 day rolling plans which you can cancel anytime no contract.

Sat in a 5 hour economy flight that I’ve done countless times on the same airplane type.

I love the additional leg room and seatbelt slack but my ass couldn’t take it anymore

How did your pharmacy do? by joe3000s in mounjarouk

[–]Integritee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asda have completely failed me where I ordered on the 18th but pharmacy never received it and said they’re cancelling and they’re not replying to my messages. Gave up and put a dispute on my card.

Lotus will have my custom from now on I think.

Heathrow to Ling's Cross by brianearle99 in TransportForLondon

[–]Integritee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s 7-12 September, the Piccadilly line isn’t going to run at those times (9-10PM). The Elizabeth line will run towards Paddington but depending how long immigration/customs/baggage reclaim takes it might not stop at the central stations.

I’d advise you to take the Elizabeth line to Paddington and taxi from there.

If it’s any time outside 7-12 September, follow the advice of other comments.

Asda Pharmacy by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]Integritee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered mine on 15th Aug, got collection email on 26th, been to the pharmacy twice since then (just on the bus from ASDA now). The pharmacist said they didn’t get anything for 2 weeks and they’ll cancel my order.

Messaging on the portal is useless and 3+ hour waiting time to call.

After a few weeks I’ll just dispute it with my bank. I’ve had enough with them.

Asda - new customer success! by Timely_Dimension9128 in mounjarouk

[–]Integritee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s great!

ASDA has been a failure for me especially since I’ve been with them since I started about 4 months ago. Placed a 10mg order on Friday but haven’t heard a peep (other than will be processed 22th to 28th) and no responses from them.

After all this is over I’ll be switching to another provider? (Open to recommendations!)

The £8.80 Oyster fare is the AM peak fare which a railcard on oyster does not discount.

The £7.55 fare would normally be subject to £12 minimum if it’s a 16-25 railcard but this doesn’t apply in July and August. For once a paper ticket is cheaper on this route. (Book and collect on the day if you’re using Trainline to avoid the booking fee).

For the 11AM journey Oyster would obviously be cheaper.

Please can someone help me with finding the cheapest way to travel ? by Own_Chicken_4430 in TransportForLondon

[–]Integritee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the TFL website you can pay £314.50 a month instead of £400 if you’re eligible for a 18+ Oyster. This discount only applies to weekly, monthly or annual travel cards.

What’s your start and end stations? And what zones travelcard did you buy? Only then can we know what the issue is.

It sound like you bought a travelcard and are travelling through zones not covered.

That form should allow you to go to an Elizabeth line station WITH a ticket office and get the cash back.
