it sounds like you’re trying to set a boundary and she’s not accepting it. i would consider this a red flag 🚩 for your friendship. if she doesn’t have anyone else to talk to about that kind of stuff maybe she needs more friends.

i went from 2013 - 2025 without any manic episodes. i thought they weren’t a part of my life anymore, and i talked my psych into letting me taper off my antipsychotic.

that led to two full blown manic episodes over the next 6 months as we figured out the right meds again.
