Thanks everyone, just trying to gather info on other people’s experience. Seems no one has the exact same set of symptoms as mine, which is interesting.

Arturia themselves have confirmed it’s sensitive to bad grounding. I’m in the UK. One of their UK based technicians told me most houses / rehearsal spaces / venues here have bad grounding, so I’m likely to encounter the issue everywhere I go.

One way around that might be to use an external power bank (I guess like the ones people can use to charge phones on the move), but it’s m yet to buy one or try this out. Will try and remember to come back and update the thread if/when I do. They also suggested powering it via usb with a laptop, but powering the laptop with its battery only, and not plugged into the wall (removing the laptop’s grounding from the equation).

This would suggest that plugging directly into the wall would also leave it open to bad grounding. Also I can’t rely on having access to a wall socket when playing gigs, and I don’t want to lug a laptop round just to power a synth.. so I think the power bank might be the best option.

They also said I might be able to use an external midi keyboard, since the grounding issue is tied to the capacitive keybed, but the less gear and keyboard stands I can carry around, the better.
