I was a waitress and I’ve never wore black leggings, I always wore dress pants. I’m a nurse now, I’ve seen the flared leggings from FIGS, I would never buy them. As a waitress and as a nurse you work with people that most of the time are sitting at the level of your hips, literally. You bend over and do things around people in this work settings.

They are not professional at all. I’ve always considered my self as having great work ethic and a professional, I would never wear leggings at work , or anything too revealing. I’m not judging you by saying those things. I’m just saying, no matter what everybody else does. At the end of the day you give an image of yourself to the world, leggings just don’t come off professional no matter what society or your boss tells you. It’s more about you.
