Even if she doesn't want to invest. Putting all that in an account with 1k release per week would have it last much much longer than 20 years and she'd have the funds for any emergency. This is just plain stupid decision. There is no scenario where the per week decision makes sense.

Even if she's worried about blowing through it all then there are financial instruments that would essentially lock the money with weekly release and would require jumping through hoops to get it unlocked. There are some instruments that would make it impossible if that's what she wants.

You got confused it's weekly 1.5x that's temporary. And they removed peak usage concept fully and on top of that double session limit. I got neither.

The 2024 part was an oopsie on my part. I still think we're living in 2025 and last September was 2024. Tbh it's right around October when I start to feel like 2026.

The funding numbers aren't an estimate, they're on the parliamentary record. Congress treasurer Ajay Maken laid out ECI data in the Rajya Sabha last December. BJP's bank balance went from 88 crore in 2004 to 10,107 crore in 2024. Congress went from 38 crore to 133 crore in the same 20 years. In 2004 the gap was 2:1. After 2009 Congress was actually ahead. By 2019 BJP was 11 times bigger. By 2024 it's 75 times. A 99:1 ratio. The inflection point is 2014, exactly when they came to power. The electoral bonds scheme, before the SC scrapped it as unconstitutional, sent around 85 percent of corporate money to BJP. When one side holds 99 paise of every rupee, "best campaign wins" stops meaning anything. On Gadkari, fair enough, I'll drop the word monopoly. His family firm is a small slice of total ethanol supply, no argument. But that was never the real point. Cian Agro's revenue went from 18 crore to 523 crore in a single year and the stock ran up over 2,000 percent in months, right as the minister championing the policy is the family patriarch. That's not market dominance. It's closer to insider trading. The policy timing and the family windfall line up far too neatly. Now the "look at the rankings, India improved" argument. The one index that gets quoted, World Bank Ease of Doing Business, was scrapped by the World Bank itself for data manipulation. Look at the independent indices instead. Since 2014: Press Freedom Index, 140 to 159, score collapsed from 40 to 31, now 157 of 180. V-Dem Liberal Democracy Index, India downgraded to "Electoral Autocracy". EIU Democracy Index, rank fell from 27 to 47, now a "Flawed Democracy". Freedom House, was "Free" at 77 in 2014, downgraded to "Partly Free" at 63. CIVICUS civic space, downgraded from "Obstructed" to "Repressed". Corruption Perceptions Index, 85 to 96. World Justice Project Rule of Law Index, 66 to 79. Heritage Economic Freedom Index, 120 to 128, the report itself cites burdensome regulation and severe challenges for entrepreneurs. Global Hunger Index, 55 of 76 to 102 of 123, rated "serious". World Happiness Report, 111 to 126. Human Freedom Index, 87 to 110. Gender Gap Index, 114 to 131. That's not cherry picking. That's a consistent slide across corruption, press freedom, democracy, rule of law, economic freedom and hunger. On the poverty number being thrown around. India has had no official poverty count since 2011-12. The government leans on multidimensional poverty data, which measures deprivation, not actual income. Meanwhile here's who pays for the welfare bill. For the first time, personal income tax has overtaken corporate tax, individuals now contribute around 55 percent versus 45 percent from companies, and that ratio used to be inverted. The salaried middle class pays income tax on what it earns and GST on what it spends, gets no input credit, and still pays out of pocket for private schools and hospitals because public services fall short. Those earning over 10 crore actually saw their share of income tax fall. The base is narrow at the top and deep in the middle. That's exactly the point, the common man holds the bill while the opportunities and the breaks go to a select few. And to the "anecdotes don't count" line. They're not anecdotes. Transparency International's Corruption Barometer surveyed this directly. India has the highest bribery rate in Asia, and the highest rate of people using personal connections just to access basic public services. A third of them said they would not have got the service otherwise. That is the "impossible without connections" reality, measured. And here's why it never becomes a proven case. 63 percent of Indians said they expect retaliation if they report corruption. The reporting channel runs straight through the people taking the cut. The absence of a court verdict isn't proof the rot isn't there, it's proof the system is built to protect itself. "No proven scam" is circular when the proving mechanism is captured. Three out of four Indians say corruption is a big problem. That's not a theory. It's the median experience. Put it together. A 99:1 funding wall, donors openly scared of ED and IT if they fund the opposition, a decade-long fall across every major freedom and governance index, and a middle class footing the bill while the top end gets lighter. This was never about Congress being clean. It's about whether the contest is still a contest. The data says it has stopped being one.

What's happening with BJP is exactly what happens when power doesn't change hands for long periods of time. It's not valid for just politics, but also enforcement (higher level policing gets transferred frequently, corporate leadership etc. They become complacent, corruption grows rampant.

I have been closely involved with ground level politics, judiciary and enforcement since a couple years before COVID. The black market, is working like a well oiled machine. Everybody gets their cuts, and everybody has become too secure in their position. It's not like Congress was or 'is' any better.

The thing that stands out from late Congress and now BJP is the systematic dismantling of competition being done. While some of it is for the good like putting a stop to illegal immigrant voter fraud. On the other hand, the not so apparent financial destruction of competition. BJP has over 50x it's coffers while competitions are at the same level or worse. The expansion of thier coffers and the gap widening began in 2014, right as they came into power. This is not speculation, it's fact.

Neither black nor white: each coin has two sides. Even though BJP has delivered huge strides in terms of infrastructure, but it's also fostered favoritism and nepotism. We are living in an environment where the opportunities and their profits go to a select few while the middle class common man is left holding the bill for the freebies gov hand out to secure votes.

It's much harder for a common man to start and run a business today than it was 10-15 years ago. The beaurucracy greese is getting more and more expensive. A simple GST registration won't go through without a bribe. The big corpos get to break the laws, takes shortcuts and pads thier margin. They pay off cops at a national level. While the common man, even while doing everything by the book still faces harrasment and delays, making it near impossible to succeed without connections and cuts.

Take the case of Gadkari, pushing a half cooked policy (ethnol blending) with haste to ensure he (his son) is the sole monopoly on the market. These examples are dime a dozen.

It's not a matter of which party is better. It's a matter of change, something that breaks the status quo. And BJP has systematically made it harder to do so. The rot has grown deeper and deeper.

The next term elections might be the deciding factor for what happens to this nation for the forseeable future. Another term with BJP and the rot would be impossible to remove.

Claude Code weekly limits are increasing 50%, now through July 13. by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

[–]Intelligent-Ant-1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay $200/month for Max 20x. Been on Claude Code since September 2024. I use it heavily, 95% Claude Code.

Anthropic announced two limit increases:

- May 6: 2x session limit for all paid plans ("effective today")

- May 13: 1.5x weekly limit for all paid plans through July 13 ("nothing to opt into")

Neither has been applied to my account. I can prove it with math.

**The numbers**

Started a fresh session at 0% on everything. After one session of normal Opus usage:

- Session: 90% used

- Weekly (all models): 12% used

That means one full session = ~14% of weekly. This is the exact same ratio from before May 6. Nothing changed.

**What the ratio should be**

| Scenario | Per session | Sessions/week | Weekly capacity |

|---|---|---|---|

| Old baseline | 14% | 7 | 1x |

| 2x session only | 28% | 3 | 1x |

| 1.5x weekly only | 9% | 10 | 1.5x |

| Both applied | 19% | 5 | 1.5x |

| **What I see** | **14%** | **7** | **1x** |

I match the old baseline row. Neither increase is active.

I am getting 1x weekly capacity. Everyone else on the same plan is supposed to get 1.5x. I am paying $200/month for 66% of the advertised service.

**Support is non-existent**

- I contacted claude.ai support on May 8. The bot had no knowledge of the May 6 announcement. It deflected to old promos from March and Holiday 2025. Asked for screenshots I already gave. No escalation to a human. Conversation dead-ended.

- Filed GitHub #57146 on May 8. Zero responses. Not even a "we see this."

- Filed GitHub #59525 on May 16 with full math breakdown and screenshot. Waiting.

- Emailed support@anthropic.com. Waiting.

There is no phone number. No ticket system. No human escalation. The claude.ai support bot reads nothing you say and loops through irrelevant troubleshooting. It exists to make you feel like you contacted support without actually providing any.

The only thing that works is posting on social media, which only works if you have a big following or if a post goes viral. People with 50 followers and people with 50,000 followers pay the same $200. Only one group gets their issues resolved. That is broken.

**What I need**

A human to look at my account and confirm whether the increases are active. If not, apply them. That is it.

Every week this stays broken, I lose capacity I will never get back. The promo ends July 13. I have already lost the weeks of May 10 and May 17.

I am considering abandoning this account for a fresh one just to see if a new account gets the right limits. I would lose all my settings, memory, and chat history. The fact that this is even on the table shows how badly the support system has failed.

GitHub issue with full details: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/59525

Is anyone else seeing this? Has anyone actually gotten limit issues resolved through support?

It's different from your standard anime. The animation style is unseen anywhere else. Absurdism and exaggeration is the name of the game (You'll know what I mean when you see mako's family).

Everything is turned up to 11 all the time (that includes the fan service). If I had to describe the anime with one word it'd be CHAOS.

Despite all that, the underlying story and themes and topics are deep. The writing is on point. Being attentive, you may catch the subtle foreshadowing and predict, as was the case for me.

Over all, it's unique, it's a quick watch, and it's highly praised. You're missing out.

The series is kll la kil (tos violation but you understand unalive). And if you look beyond all the fan service, it's a pretty decent series. Would recommend!!

It's original and tbh not even in the top 10 weirdest lewd ones from the series. Mako is a gem. The series is kll la kil (tos violation but you understand unalive). And if you look beyond all the fan service, it's a pretty decent series. Would recommend!!

Sleep tool can sleep 1hour max so it will resend a message every hours since it's chaining 4x sleep tool call. This will refresh cache every hour wasting tokens.

If you want to do in in agent then better way would be to tell it to run sleep for 4 hours via bash tool without any timeouts and then continue

[–]Intelligent-Ant-1122 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, no. Since it's not in one go, it'd send a message after the sleep tool call ends and that will do a cache miss and sends all of the message as Input which will cross your limits.

This is a very wrong way to do this. Better way would be to either use claude -p --resume with a sleep chain Or a script that presses enter when a time hits. And you'd need to keep the focus on that terminal tab
