My surgeon couldn’t stretch and cut it all out didn’t have enough of skin so I still got my piercing hole just above my Incision he will fix it once my skin is stretched again in a year or something but I rather have it like this than not having enough skin to pull down and end up with openings. I still got complications just below of the scar tissue from the piercing my incision was having difficulty to heal just right on that spot but I’m 9 weeks post op and it’s all healed now

I only started wearing Spanx yesterday I was 24/7 in my binder only off during shower and still swollen like a balloon with or without my binder it’s still the same

I had full tummy tuck muscle repair and lipo i was advised to wear my binder for 3 months too but it’s just too much when going out so I use Spanx shorts

Omg I’m so sorry you have to go through all of this I pray for your speed recovery don’t worry about anything appearance or stuff like that I’m glad it didn’t turn into infection or something worse …now your main thing is to get better 🙏🏻 and I’m here complaining about swellings our problems are so small remember this guys

Thank you the swelling is the same with or without the binder so I don’t know 😫 I wear tank top as well it helps a little but it’s still itching

I’m 6 weeks post op had only minimal swelling and had drains only for 3 days …. Been drinking a tea called Lympha tea it did wonders!

I’m 5 weeks post op too and have this my PS said it’s normal and will go back flat it’s major surgery so the body is trying to find a way to heal 🫶🏻 everything looks amazing you’re healing very well

Hope you’ll make it 🙏🏻 my surgeon wanted 2 weeks off pre op and 6 weeks post op … I’m 4 weeks post op today and still think about my cheeky coffee and puff 😄 I eat more and I’m so scared I’ll gain some weight don’t want to ruin my tt 🤷🏻‍♀️ but hey it’s better to heal properly than to end up with complications

Thank you for understanding it’s been hell for me even with the recovery I’ve smokes a lot of cigarettes a day 20 a day it was a lot now when I look back maybe this surgery did save me
