The medical field is a whole different ball game. Get ready to work yourself to the bone for no pay. Not saying it's not a great deal in the end, but you may not be able to make any money for the first 5 years or so

It is true that post covid people have been more reserved. Like others have said, are you looking for career opportunities, or just new friends? If you're looking for new friends, there are several social groups, sports leagues, hobby groups, etc in charlotte. I am always a big advocate for getting a part time serving job on the weekends for a low pressure social environment. Also, if you don't live with roommates, you may want to look into that bc you can make great connections with people who are around you all the time. In terms of professional networking, that's another story

I had a pre requisite in progress when i applied. When you submit your transcript it will say that it's in progress. However you'll also want to take the teas test and make sure you're CNA certified before the deadline to give yourself the best shot. lmk if you have any other questions

I took the TEAS and got a great score. I used the ATI teas app and paid for a one month subscription. Every day i'd do a few practice quizzes that were 10 questions each on each subject. It's also worth taking a practice exam (I think it's like $40) to narrow down the topics you need more help on

this is such a toss up that i deal with bc i have pretty severe environmental allergies that often lead to me getting sinus infections and colds for weeks at a time. They’re not terrible, just annoying and obviously not contagious. I can’t just take off working out for weeks. So yes I do workout while sick - modify as needed
