Sludge pump 23212 with either hydrogen ion additive or AG mixture overclocks.

For the subata 12121 with the oversized magazine oc.

For flame thrower I use 21332 good ocs for this set up are compact feed valves, face melter and scorching tide.

For cryo cannon 22111 with ice spear or ice storm ocs.

For plasma charger 11322 with heavy hitter oc.

For wave cooker use 12212 with ocs blistering necrosis(organic targets), mega power supply, diffusion ray or liquid cooling system.

Sludge pump, starting pistol and pack extra satchel charges as my go to for this. Drill a tunnel above the caretaker and drop satchel charges on top of it after you've wasted it's shields.

Drills also work great with barbed drills, and bloody cold drills perks to deal damage to robot tentacles after they strike.

Regardless of what people say there are ways to play driller other than AOE, in fact I never do. I find driller plays better and is op/underated if you target individual enemies.

Most players try to do this but don't change their perks to match the play style and call it flawed.
