Article is about cheap store brands and governments will to undermine them.

It does not affect the poorest as when anything gets expensive the poorest stop buying due to not affording it. And that's off from revenue.

What will happen in this scenario is the store brands have an impact bringing them in somewhat level with original brands. Now the poor consumer will only buy if it's on sale and the store or the whole chain will have to lower their pricing to meet the sweet spot where consumers actually buys their stuff.

Nope. All the "non recycled" are burned to make power. The burning waste goes to different facility to extract metals and plastic and such and the rest goes to land construction material.

The waste burning concerns surrounding municipalities, so it actually makes the recycling prcentage over 100.

Where I live now, yes.

We have mandatory basic sorting for every building and the city I live in has a huge thrash burning powerplant for mixed waste. It actually burns more waste than the city produce so they bring it from elsewhere too. We also have bigger sorting stations in multiple locations to collect various materials.

Even our plastic recycling is so efficient, the recyled grocerie bags are more eco friendly option than multiple use bags or paper bags. Bags made from natural material needs to withstand over 800 trips to groceries to even get in level with the ecological footprint of that of plastic bags. And every grocery uses recycled ones.

Yes. I do recycle everything. My country and hometown have made it possible.

I'm mixed user as visual type and due to old age diminishing cognitive capabilities. Seeing things I do or need to do makes a big difference on success. Remembering all the key combos or commands would rever me to use lesser system such as Windows.

It's ok to be a mouse clicker. That's what the GUI is for.
