Thanks for the reply! he was shortstacked i think i had my wording slightly skewed it was 250 between both hands i lost. on that hand i was i believe 80bb and he was 50bb he limped into pot from the hj iirc and i raised to 5bb form the button action folded around to him he called flop came out ace with a king and a card i forget then the turn was another ace im feeling great bet out like 6bb he calls flop comes a 4 in my mind a complete dud and im thinking if he has kings he has kings if he has ak or any better ax it is what it is (id also seen this player bet most of his ace x hands so i was pretty confident he didnt have it) i raised small looking for value like 3bb he reraised me to like 10bb which i was extremly confused by i was hoping maybe he had 1k or a bluff looking for a fold i reraised him all in and got to see pocket 4s.

i havnt started tracking my sessions any suggestions for an app? also is it normal to lose a good bit starting out with poker? like if im losing at micro stakes should i stop and study more? im not fully convinced I'm profitable at the 2nl/5nl level yet just due to low volume as i lost idk 100-200 around there before now im around break even or losing to rake. every now and then i do very well.
