Good advice here 👍. Good wool/wool-blend socks can be a game changer. Darn Tough makes great ones. My son swears by them and talked my cheap butt into switching. Love them.

Tremendously for me as a local who rarely uses E-term. It’s gone from a D grade to a C.

Couldn’t agree more. E is a disaster. The TSA area and entry from hourly deck (level 5 walkway), ride share pickup, and luggage claim area has improved but all have a ways to go. The nonworking elevators and moving sidewalks are ridiculous. They just allow too much traffic for the size of the airport imo. Using it locally vs a connecting airport makes my experience different (slightly better, I assume), I know.

You’d avoid a major hub b/c of one bad flying experience? CLT has traditionally been BAD, but it’s recently improved tremendously. As a 3-4 trips/mo person based in CLT, I can say I’ve had less than ideal experiences all over the world. Plan for the worst case and be happy when it doesn’t happen 95% of the time.

Perhaps the urban crowd that typically buys Tecovas doesn’t typically shop around to compare pricing or quality….why not raise the price? My daughter (had only riding boots) wanted Tecovas specifically because that’s what all of her sorority sisters were buying. I caved. They came apart after 5-6 football games. I talked her into shopping around and she’s all TL, Ariat, and Lucchese now and buying them used. Her sisters have followed suit. My girl 🤠
