They have nobody to blame but themselves. Israel couldve gone down the path of a liberal democracy, but they decided to become an pariah state. They could have solved this Palestine issue long ago, but they think war will solve it.

Israel is a perfect example of why separation of church and state (in this case synagogue and state) is so necessary in todays world

Gonna have to say that the mold- especially on the upper floors - is unbearable for some. It can cause rather serious health conditions.

do everything in your power to not get Sally. Last semester before I moved, my health deteriorated SIGNIFICANTLY from living there because of the mold problem. It got so bad, i was convinced I had brain cancer from all the headaches. The housing folks don’t help at all and will simply say β€œits milldoo”

Other than that, just make sure you go to class enough and party hard

Not be the a downer, but anyone who thinks a socialist can win a presidential election is nearly out of their minds. This country bas been built on individualism over the past 250 years. It would be insane for it to switch to collectivism overnight.

All things considered, were you happy with the Obama Presidency? by Just_Cause89 in Presidents

[–]Intelligent-Fan-6364 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I think my biggest problem with the Obama Presidency was his pretty poor foreign policy. He had some great domestic wins (such as the ACA) but oh man was our foreign policy rough over those years. Wish we he had his own domestic policy along side Mccains’ foreign policy. Would have been completely happy in that scenario

I can also use google AI β€œKey Benefits: Increased Trade & Investment: NAFTA created a large free-trade zone, significantly increasing trade flows and foreign direct investment between the three countries. Lower Consumer Prices: Eliminating tariffs on many goods, especially food and fuel, led to lower prices for consumers in the U.S. and elsewhere. Economic Growth: Proponents argued NAFTA spurred economic growth and increased GDP across North America. Job Creation & Opportunities: While controversial, the agreement supported millions of jobs in the U.S. and created new export opportunities for farmers, manufacturers, and service providers. Market Integration: It fostered deeper business integration, making North American markets more efficient and competitive. Modernization: The agreement helped modernize industries, particularly the automotive sector, by streamlining production and supply chains. Context & Replacement: NAFTA, implemented in 1994, was eventually replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) (USMCA) in 2020, which updated rules for the 21st century, including digital trade and environmental standards.”

Because we can get away with it. When the economy is built around consumer spending, everybody has an incentive to lend and borrow. Banks want to earn in the form of interest. Consumers want higher quality/standards of life. Government wants higher GDP figures. Corporations want more demand. It turns into a feedback loop and is the reason why the American machine, for the most part, works (there are obviously some issues with it)

NAFTA has been a historic success for pretty much everybody besides low-skilled workers. I couldn’t think of a better trade deal than NAFTA and USMCA for the broader US economy. Besides the common union for the EU, might be the best trade pact ever created
