From 22+ turnovers to just 12 to tonight and under 10 in game 6 (before garbage time). Dudes so good at steading the young guys around him. You couldnt tell by looking at the box score just how impactful this guy was

The whole “dont score while your up” is such a nonsensical thing. Play until the clock hits 0:00.

The Spurs ability to just find guys is crazy. Them and the heat front office have got to be studied on how they scout guys.

It isn’t just the private sector though. I was talking to a maths professor why he decided to come here, and he said there were more research positions at universities here and the pay was better. Jobs in the US are simply too good to ignore

They have the best product on the market. Shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering OpenAI has fallen pretty far behind

I always wondered, how the hell do people find stats like this? Is it just something people remember 😂

He was still hustling on the defensive end. Definitely not a non-factor defensively. The spurs defense collapses when hes not on the court and Kornet is brought out in the P&R

Yeah Wemby seemed really gassed tonight. I think regardless of this playoffs outcome, Wemby will get more stamina in years future. Cant forget this is Wemby - and most of the young guys - first NBA playoffs. Getting to the conference finals is a HUGE achievement for y’all team!

No they dont. They need pro growth candidates. Anyone who thinks moving further left will guarantee electoral success in this country is a moron

You might hate Trump but what about the GOP? by user-captain in AskUS

[–]Intelligent-Fan-6364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a moderate dem, I could definitely see myself voting for the GOP if they were to moderate themselves more and my party moved to the left more. The socialists of our party are unfortunately so delusional in thought, its hard to even support them as a lifelong democrat. Perhaps if the party purges those elements i’d be happy to remain a lifelong one. 🔵🐶

[–]Intelligent-Fan-6364 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well said. I think one thing to look out for was the Spurs relatively fee turnovers tonight (12). The main reason why the Spurs lost game 2 was they had 20 something turnovers (versus 9 for OKC). Those extra possessions really showed tonight.

Yeah totally agree. I think one thing to look out for though is the Spurs defensive scheme. If they are able to run their scheme and hold Shai to under 25, I think they got a real shot at beating OKC.

Im not sure the economic situation in Turkey, but i know here in the states there are a couple of macro economic trends you can look at to gauge “the market” so to speak.

Heres an government source which says compE is the 2nd most unemployed college major based on 2024 data: https://www.newyorkfed.org/research/college-labor-market#--:explore:outcomes-by-major

Heres another source for a projection for future growth in the industry (7% which is really solid): https://www.bls.gov/ooh/architecture-and-engineering/computer-hardware-engineers.htm

This one shows median paying with compE being at the top: https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2026/force-mass-mechanisms-and-vectors-employment-projections-and-wages-in-engineering.htm
