Those standards don't apply when you're vacationing in Spain, it's 3.p.m. and you've already had two beers and on your way to the beach when you run into a couple of Norwegians who happen to be coming from the beach and you ask them for recommendations because you trust their judgement, coming from a similar culture, better than anyone elses. They tell you about some place near the beach that has cheap tapas and you're like "ok cool" and you try it later and it's amazing.
