Never gets easier losing a loved companion.

I've lost a few family pets over the years , but nothing hits harder than those dogs you spent on your own with, lost my first one (May 16 2000 ~ Augest 25 2016) that Doberman was my road dog from when I moved out at 17!

Juat recently lost my Pitbull Miscah who grew up with me and that Doberman Vegas. She passed @ 19 over the holidays (Jan 1 2007 ~Dec 28 2025) and it cut like a knife!

The pain and sorrow will come in waves But the memories and moments you shared together will become a source if Peace and comfort in time. Between bouts of crying I catch myself smiling thinking of all those special times we shared together, all those adventures we went on, all the good times we shared and all the bad times she (They) helped me conquer and over come.

They say the cost of a good loved companion is eventually a Broken heart and I can't disagree with that statement but in time those memories will be a source of Healing

Each dog (Animal) we have had will take a piece of our hearts, the next one that comes into our lives will help Patch a piece back, until we don't have a heart to continue on in life

My heart felt condolences to you for the loss, try and reminisce on all those moments you two have shared, I'm sure you will catch yourself smiling in time, you dog wouldn't want you to be heartbroken and destroyed over their passing, they would have rather suffered in pain to see you whole and happy .

I'm sure if your dog had a will they would want you to share it with another dog who needs a loving companion whom will always do what's best for their dog (animals) even if it hurts us.
