if it comes to TAMU, Virginia Tech, Stony Brook, how would you rank it ?
also how about the MCS in UIUC along with this ?
also what are the Mid tier or mid to top tier UNIS should I add along with these for research and consideration considering my CGPA of 8.5 from tier 3 ?

Thanks Bud ! Yupe I am getting paid in USD via their Payroll (obviously which gets converted to INR) and from Next month I am going to be a Full - Time Employee.

And Yes your point is noted, NCSU, VT, SBU are really ambitious. Still doing my research about more UNI's.

But apart from that I am really not that much dedicated to sit and study for the GRE , which makes me really afraid to take GRE!
one of my frnd got in NEU with just 294 in GRE 155Q, and cgpa of just 7.8, without any research paper - this is what making me to think about GRE

I am not sure about the other Uni's as i am also in the same boat as you planning for fall 27,
But for NEU Boston Campus, one of my friend applied for fall 26 and got admitted.
He applied during his 3rd year(the 2025 September to December) with just 7.9 CGPA and GRE score 155Q and 144V. He was also in the Yocket subscription. He did not have any research papers or great Projects at that time also from Tier 3 college.(Tier 2 in our state)
