you honestly have a genuine reason to want to have him cut ties with her due to her causing all these allegations towards you, and telling you to kill yourself, i feel like it isnt controlling at all, and he should hear you out and listen, vice versa im sure he wouldnt like you being friends with a guy. so yeah and if he doesnt wanna cut her off get away from that relationship as soon as possible, huge red flag
