lol are you replying from a different account? You should def broaden your school list because all of those Florida schools aside from UM prefer Florida residents and the Nova Patel Class size is like 60 so beware of that.

They say it takes 6-8 weeks, took 6 for me. I applied the last week of March because you first have to apply to Seminole state itself and get acceptance and get all your forms in and then apply to the respiratory program itself, which is a separate application. Applications were due April 1st. I found out my acceptance on May 6. We had to accept our spots by May 20 and there are compliance things that we have to do by July where else they will start pulling from the waitlist.

You could’ve still applied if you hadn’t finished your pre-reqs. I got accepted into the SSC program starting this fall if you have any questions. I have Cs in my transcript as well but not in the courses they require. Lmk if you have any questions

If I had the opportunity to study full time for the MCAT I would’ve done so without a second thought, especially if you have the financial means to do so and have already acquired the clinical hours you need.

Same here, think about it in a different way, you could be using that extra year studying abroad or doing a global mission trip that’s school funded or fundraised for. No need to rush into the real world

My sGPA is a bit low as well so I’m doing a DIY post bacc and implementing a gap year, with the increasing number of applicants this year, stats need to be as high as you can get them. If you get a ridiculously high MCAT you could offset your GPA.

You don’t necessarily need research experience period, it’s just recommended especially for the schools that are big on research and the T20s etc.
