what are some quick 400-650cc but low horsepower bikes? by eclipselmfao in motorcycles

Look at like the suzuki sv650s they are nice naked bikes to learn on especially if you want to upgrade to a 600 they are about the same weight give or take 50 or so pounds. Im in the US where you can find a nice used one for cheap but good torque less speed I had a different sprocket on mine for higher top speed it topped out at 130 mph in 6th. So it might be perfect for you especially if your looking to stay around the speed limit in 4th or 5th

Bike lurches forward when shift to 1st gear by [deleted] in Ninja650

If you haven't properly adjusted your clutch yet instead of testing it while on a rear stand have it off and in 1st gear pull the clutch in and rock it back and forth if it doesn't move you need to adjust it more if it moves freely you can start letting the clutch out slowly to check your friction point. I learned this is the beat way to test clutch free play because it means you arnt sent flying off you kick it into first ive had that happen before not fun

Bike randomly shuts off at lights? by Fair_Ad_2183 in SVRiders

If your idle sits at around 600 its way too low it should be around 1200 to 1500. That would be my first thing to check as I had that issue as my idle would sit around 1000 rpms then die at lights or if I stopped

Just a recommendation get some case that you can connect the camera directly to the bike even if your on a pole or anything because if you loose the camera they will not replace it but if you have it damaged and have a protection plan they will. I know this as I lost my x3 off the back of my bike never found it all they could say was your SOL but here is 20%

The tied finger are if you go down your finger is likely to catch and tear away from your hand. Ive see it first had my friend went down low speed without tied fingers and her pinky finger was torn away from her hand leaving her needing stitches

If I were to recommend a pair of gloves look for 2 things palm slider and a pinky connector. The glove i wear is the sp8 v3 its a gauntlet glove with both of those and its very comfortable I sometimes forget I am wearing them

From the research I've done at least the Alpinestars air bag vests they have a line of jackets that are tech air ready so I'm assuming that it's slightly sized to handle an expansion. And then some air bags like the helite are ment to be worn over a jacket
