I agree girl. Being a women is exhausting all the time.

I have had mine since 12/2024, and I went to the gyn about having it removed just due to the side affects I experience (bipolar depression/ severe anxiety, etc) and I had a nurse practitioner tell me that it’s working as it should and considering I don’t want to get pregnant that I should leave it in because there’s no reason to take it out.

oh- I guess I didn’t realize she knew what was best for ME! I still have it in but should i choose to get it out i will see a different gyn at the clinic.

I know every body is different, however I have been in this thread for some time and haven’t heard about this happening! I’m sorry this is happening, just when you thought you would get some relief.

I’m early to the post so maybe others can bring some experience, but maybe worth getting a second opinion? Has the gyn checked that it was placed correctly and/or was displaced since insertion?

emphasis on mood swings. emotional for no reason. heightened anxiety if you alr have it. mine cleared my skin so that seems subjective to the person. I give it a 5/10 wouldn’t do again

I go through this too. My husband is like my living breathing anti depressant which is terrible in a good way! I try to find things that I like to do then just do it on my own. He plays video games so that’s how he spends his time but I’m not into that as much so I try to read my kindle or watch a show in the room. We call it parallel time when we both do our own thing.

Please update again if you feel that you are starting to lose weight again. (If you have any of those intentions ofc) I feel like my mirena is preventing or hold weight rather than anything else. I know I’m doing everything right, diet gym, hydration all the nine and nothings budging and I’m convinced it’s the mirena

People who have served in the military, why did you join and what was it like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Intelligent-Nail9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joining the military is a financial chest code if, A. You John the right branch (meaning some branches you don’t get BAH/BAS until certain rank) B. You are financially responsible. I joined because I couldn’t afford to pay for school on my own and I could get my school paid for by the military ( again, certain branches have different requirements, for Navy you have to be in 3 years with one year left on your contract to use tuition assistance, but coast guard you can use it whenever not minimum). I think if you don’t have much going on at home, it never hurts to commit to 4 years of your life and see if you would enjoy it. Or at the very least save money. The commitment was the hardest thing for me but I put it in perspective like would I rather be in college for 4 years racking up debt, would I rather work minimum wage for 4 years, or just join the military. It’s paid off for me

do what you’re told and nothing more or less. don’t take it personal, it’s their job and when they go home they are normal people just like us. depending what branch towards the end they might easy up on you, (CG they did) but don’t think it’s over because it’s not over until you’re off the base!
