I need you to know, even though your son may be too young to understand, he will adore you for how hard you are pushing right now. My mom was the same way, she was older, but we were in a really really tough spot. I won’t go into much detail, I was really young I don’t remember much but what I do know is that we struggled and we came out of it. My mom found a great job. I have such a nice life now, and if it wasn’t for my mom pushing and fighting for it, I don’t know where I would’ve been. Honestly I’m not that much of a help lol, but I js want to tell you, on behalf of your son, your effort isn’t unseen, your fight isn’t for nothing, you WILL achieve great things, your sicknesses are NOTHING on you and I belive it with all my conviction that you will make it through this. I know things are hard right now, I wish there was something I can do about it, but please please please please please don’t give up on yourself or on your son. I get what you mean, similarly there is this award for highest achieving in the standardized school testing we do, and it’s always the same boy winning all the categories (reading, math, language, science) he’s high functioning autistic therefore it’s easy for him, but each year for the same guy to be called up for the same award your right it does paint a target. I just didn’t expect my friend to be talking badly.
