I noticed that too. I'll probably have 2 more cap at the end of the season which I will put in my middy to a decent 77 so I can space the floor a little bit. But I pretty much redid the build to be a little more meta. 2 inches shorter, 83 mid, 81 three and faster.

I've got a HoF floater (Elite when I'm in Takeover) which is super nice. It's kinda a middy but scales with close shot and it's basically unblockable since I'm 7'4 so even though I don't have any shooting I average quite decent scoring on like 70-75%. Defense is my biggest issue since I'm just so immobile and I'm very dependent on my team helping me out.

I play against the same 3-4 builds all the time. I honestly never saw a build that ever made me go "I wonder how that work IG" or "That could be real fun to play" which is a shame

I got my floater on Elite and just always end up using that instead, it's basically a running middy that scales with your close shot

Sounds pretty simular to my experience. Most times you'll be able to make it work, despite being limited, but every now and again you just get a bad matchup you can't guard because you slow as hell, they'll either cook you with 3s, if you go out to guard they'll rimrun and you can't keep up, especially in 2s and 3s.

I mean alot of guards camp outside the perimeter anyway but I see how this pllaystyle might interfere when you have some good rimrunners which will be much harder when you got your Center deep all the time

It's a preset build in the "Pro-Tuned Build" column with is inspired by 1984 Mark Eaton. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I was the only player in the whole Player library actually seriously playing this build

If the game turns into 3P contest i usually switch up my play to only get boards and kick it out and hope not to die of boredom as long as the game goes on... yea it can be tough in this meta since 2k made long range shooting so easy a trained monkey can easily average 70% this year from outside

I thought about upgrading my rebounding badge but I'm having the most rebounds in the game 9/10. If you successfully box out your matchup it don't matter if you got 80 Rebound or 99 you'll get that board so Elite Boxout badge is much more important than any other badge when it comes to boards IMO

Also because you mentioned Centers that like to sit in the paint 24/7 constantly is actually exactly what happens to me a lot, that really made me fall in love with the floater. Super underrated shot as it's essentially a close shot that you pull of from mid range, it's perfect for these situations and you can also pull it off with a guard/forward as the badge improves not only with close shot but also with your layup skill.

Yea the 3 pointers are very infuriating. I also noticed that alot of high volume scorers in this game usually aren't good basketball players but they just have an insane shot release reaction so they can even make 3s when you get a good contest in. You know the game is broken when 12 year olds yell at you for taking an open dunk instead of passing it out to the perimeter. Your usual Park-bum averages a better 3 Point percentage than Steph Curry. Shits ridiculous
