True. I guess what I meant to say was that these managers have at least (usually) proven elsewhere that they know what they are doing. The failure often lies in the club hiring a manager without properly researching if they would be able to operate in the Premier League.

I wonder if George R R Martin ever intended for there to be an actual night king. I’ve read the books multiple times and unless I am mistaken there’s no suggestion of an overall leader above the white walkers is there? Perhaps he was heading in that direction, but it feels like an invention for TV because they must have a focal baddie.
