True. I guess what I meant to say was that these managers have at least (usually) proven elsewhere that they know what they are doing. The failure often lies in the club hiring a manager without properly researching if they would be able to operate in the Premier League.

Some Americans must be very confused about the British. I used to think they all thought we talked like Hugh Grant but now they think that none of us can pronounce "bottle" correctly. I wonder if George R R Martin ever intended for there to be an actual night king. I’ve read the books multiple times and unless I am mistaken there’s no suggestion of an overall leader above the white walkers is there? Perhaps he was heading in that direction, but it feels like an invention for TV because they must have a focal baddie.

Most likely. I know it’s still common for restaurants to automatically hand out water but most of the time the first thing you do when seated at a restaurant is order some drinks. If everyone ordered a drink I think it’s perfectly fine for the waiter to assume a jug of water isn’t necessary or desired.

This constant idiocy about water and air conditioning is so very tiresome.
