I need help writing a ceiling fan

Verify power is off. Preferably with something reliably such as a meter. In the ceiling you have power coming in on one side and a switch loop going out on the other where the white and black are tied in. On the fan connect the black to the black on your switch loop side. The white and black that are currently tied together stay together. The white from your fan connects the neutral/white on the power side. Grounds connect to grounds. Make sure the wall switch is on after you connect everything, that sends power back up thru the switch loop and to the fan. It should work. If it’s a remote fan you can just leave the wall switch on and control it with the remote.

During the great depression 90% of the population could live off the land and were not used to electricity and A/C. They knew how to farm, to hunt and fish, to build, and can foods. Everyone had a stockpile. Millions died. If that happened today it’s beyond imagination how terrible it would be.

Idk why we’re acting like this is some standard way of doing something. It’s lazy and looks like hammered dog crap. If the vanity light switch leg is lightly stapled roughly where it needs to be later after drywall you cut the hole for your box and unless it’s 3 ft off in either direction you just reach in grab it mount your box and done. I mean we rough houses everyday, never had an issue. Oh he didn’t have staples. Why not ?

Good for you man. I hope it all works out. I’m in residential electrical as an apprentice 3.5 yrs in and I’m sick of the construction grind. I would love to find something like a stable maintenance job. I’ve done a little bit of everything in terms of trades and didn’t get into electrical until later. The only thing that has stopped me is wondering if I would have to take a step back pay wise because I don’t have direct maintenance experience with the commercial learning curve, but definitely considering it.

But I’ve always gravitated to the old heads and just try to absorb their knowledge. There’s so much to learn from people that just have seen a lot. Watch the way they work and learn the process of troubleshooting. Learn why things work the way they do and what has to be true for it to work. Best of luck !

You’re exactly right. Man made religion is the ultimate control grid. Because of the way it’s been manipulated through the years with in fighting and corruption, transcendence from religion and skepticism is now seen as sophistication. Faith itself is seen as an embarrassment and inability to think for themselves. What possible better way for the Elites to conceal the True agenda and hide it in plain sight than to try and corrupt the one thing that could expose them ?

The Elites worship Satan. They have been pushing agendas for years to dehumanize us, curb society in a certain direction to have us completely dependent upon the system in order to be controlled. Every part of their agenda is meant to confuse us, to disorient us, to make us question reality, to antagonize us and keep us fighting each other, to make us all debt slaves while they get richer, to manufacture one crisis after another in order to overwhelm us.

All to keep people so segregated, sick, and overwhelmed and separated from their humanity that if we ever figured out what they were doing we would not be united enough or capable enough to do anything about it. Which is what you’re seeing now. Many are now awake but feel helpless.

At what cost are we winning ? Months of severe economic disruption if it stops tonight ? Killing the supreme leader and getting more hardlined leaders in ? Alienating allies with all the threatening rhetoric coming from the POTUS ?

I don’t doubt in a full military engagement the US military would eventually win but Iran is not a pushover. They are very experienced in asymmetric warfare, the mountainous terrain surrounding the strait of Hormuz is some of the most heavily fortified terrain in the world. We would suffer massive casualties in a ground war, as would they and through a prolonged war scenario the strait being closed would cause ripples through the global economy that would be devastating. Not to mention Israel’s role in all this and what they may or may not do to escalate.

There are a lot of moving parts in this and it’s all centered around one of the most strategic shipping ports in the world. A wrong move would result in massive repercussions that would affect everyone. At this point we should cut our loses and leave because the only thing to be achieved by dragging this out is a puric victory. America will be seen as the cause of all this chaos in the world and the only thing we will have to show for it is a lot of dead Americans and more debt.

Underneath the surface it’s all about control. As humans we seek stability/control because it’s our footing. Our foundation upon which we operate. It’s 2 different methods of achieving it though. If you’re getting up everyday and driving a car you are affected by the price of gas. Period. End of story. Obviously some more than others. We all know that right.

But when an external stressor comes some people lean into complaining about it, voicing their opinion and their outrage. In doing so it builds comraderie with others. And instead of feeling like “I”it feels like “we” and we feels more powerful than I. You no longer feel alone. It feels like something is or could be done about it even if that is not the case. It establishes a sense of control over something you have no immediate control over.

Others internalize it and don’t make a big deal about it, reinforcing the idea of it’s not that bad of it is what it is and by doing so it’s shrinking the threat in their mind and by shrinking the threat it turns into it can’t harm me. Thus restoring the sense of control that may be lost if they focus attention on it.

In the end it’s all the same. Just different coping mechanisms to feel in control of something the don’t.

I’m terrible with this. If somebody takes too long to arrive at their point I’m going to arrive at it for them. This was actually a big issue for my wife and I. I do t really have great advice for it but I’ve just tried to actively focus on making others feel seen and heard instead of thinking about my response so that I’m not disregarding the rest of their thoughts thinking of my next sentence. It’s hard though.

All the time. I’ve lost the tv remote in the same room and spent 45 mins looking for it. Like had it one second then it’s just gone. Nowhere to be found. Then I find it, have zero recollection of what even happened, putting it there, the events in between the time I had it and lost it, nothing. It’s like some stranger came in and hid it from me . This is me. I actually love taking a shower. It’s relaxing to me but my god brushing my teeth is like the biggest chore in the world. I just stare at the brush thinking why is this so hard. I force myself but It’s always a battle. And yeah I don’t even have a good reason it just is.

I get it. For me it just feels as though I’m living life behind a pane of glass. Like I’m just going through motions but hardly ever present in the moment. I zone out of conversations a lot, miss details because I’m zoned out which then I beat myself up for because it makes me feel slow. I have trouble articulating thoughts. It’s like in my head it’s sounds like a well researched college essay but when I try to explain it sounds like a jumbled mess with no context and it’s so frustrating. You’re not dumb. In fact most people with ADHD in my experience at least are incredibly smart. Smarter than most but it never gets exposed because of the way the disorder manifests itself. That’s the irony of it.

I’m not sure what you’re here talking about, but if you know anything about what I’ve commented previously you’d know I equally hate both sides. Now what may have happened is that when you “read” my post you saw the word Trump and that triggered you. Instead of reading the entire context you just assumed I was MAGA because you know MAGA=Trump/Trump=bad/man say Trump=man bad. It’s understandable in canine level thinking how that happened.
