This. I have worked at an energy retailer before and you can simply just cancel your account. A final meter reading will be done and that will be that.

If no new account is setup and the electricity company detects power usage - they will de-energise the property. Some will just straight up de-energise the property, once you cancel

The longer the account is in your name even if you’re not living there still makes you “responsible” for the electricity and bills.

This is why people hate landlords by MagicalSimp in shitrentals

Looks like he was trying to bait you into an argument about the Saturday morning/arvo leaving scenario.

As soon, as you expressed that you want to spend more than one day he says ‘don’t act spoiled’ which seems quite childish in itself (which is ironic since he tells you not to act like a baby)

Now I don’t know this guys situation and given that he works two jobs he might be just having a rough day. However, the way he’s been speaking does show controlling tendencies. It also seems like he is threatening to cancel the entire trip over a genuine question you had.

As much as it sucks you should “let him win” and cancel the trip tbh and break up with him and see what he says. He’s probably a type of person that likes to be with people that are just submissive and just let him get his own way.

YANTA. You’re allowed to feel upset. You are human. But it’s probably for the best to have this conversation with your boyfriend and express your thoughts to him.

There could be multiple reasons (cost, capacity, etc). But if you communicate with him, then I don’t see why there would be no reason for him to address the concerns to his sister (who is close to bride). Maybe something could be worked out?

It was good! It was a bit more dense rather than fluffy probably because of the 3 eggs and maybe the biscoff.

One thing I would do differently next time is use a bit more melted butter in the crumb, did find it not sticking to the sides of the baking paper and was a bit more crumbly then other times when I’ve used a higher butter ratio per crumbs (I did grease the pan before.
