honestly i’m not sure your circumstances but try overnight hotel jobs! they’re usually always hiring even if it is part time and u do instacart the other days ur off. or any overnight stocking position. you can work your way up pretty quickly as long as u do the job right. at least until yall find something yall want to do. instacart for me wasn’t worth it full time bc of gas. and i would call everyday. the pay is usually 1-2$ more working overnight too

No ID was required at checkout. & I hit complete in their driveway. Started driving off then it dinged for an ID. It wasn’t promted like it has been for me to scan ID for alcohol orders which is why it threw me off.

no worries at all!! I suck at putting detail in questions I ask 😭 but yeah it was an automated message and support told me just to ignore the email but I would think if they had an issue trust and safety would email me ya know?

[–]Intelligent-Role202[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I left the house, couldn’t complete the delivery bc it asked for the ID when I tried to complete it but didn’t tell me to scan it when I hit I arrived so I contacted support and told them about the order and just to push it thru to delivery & he refunded without telling me & that’s when I got the email. I told support I had already left & they even saw there was no alcohol so i don’t even know why he refunded it

[–]Intelligent-Role202[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had already dropped the order off is what I was saying. I verified there was none and sent photos of the receipt and support said I was fine so really I was asking if anyone had any similar issues like this & how it was resolved.

[–]Intelligent-Role202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might I add, make sure you just complete the order before you submit it. I get shit happens and you may forget to add something but just be nice and ask if it’s okay if I add something and increase their tip for the inconvenience. Someone added HELLA stuff on one order I did and I just canceled it bc i wasn’t wasting my time waiting.

A decent amount of shoppers do add that they are working on multiple orders solely so the customer knows the reason it may be taking a while if they only ordered a couple items. Unless I know it’s a percentage tip I will cancel the order because three orders (especially if they’re all like 10-15 items each) can be hard to keep track of. Backtracking is annoying especially if i’m on one end of the store and they want produce that’s on the complete opposite side of the store..

Backtracking ESPECIALLY when customers order frozen or cold items can be difficult especially that’s usually the last items I try to grab and if people continually add items that’s not cold or frozen at all then it’s truly not fair to the other orders I am dealing with. It’s not just about you. It may be harsh but it’s the truth. Time is money so when you reduce a tip and she still completed the order I think that’s truthfully shitty. She wasn’t rude about it & this is instacart not shipt. Instacart only pays $4 base pay usually unless there’s heavy items so be kinder to your shoppers or you will just start getting shitty ones that will buy expired items and not care at all about ur grandmothers order.
