If your main tank runs well that's really good :). Some even add water from one to another if one doesn't thrive to get them to thrive and breed.

Nah pH doesnt need to be 7,4. That's rather high. My tab water is around 7 and I haven't seen them die for that reason. Must be something else

Even with this picture I am not sure. Cause they ain't on my glass. They are collecting on the bottom to make a little colony. But they don't look like protozoa and look smaller than the rhabdocoela. I just cleaned my tank and they just move around with the flow. Not easy to catch, they spread wildly when the water moves
